The Sheridan at Oak Brook

I recently helped my parents move into this senior living facility, and I couldn't be happier with the decision. The amenities are fantastic, offering various activities and entertainment options. The management team is incredibly friendly and responsive, making the transition smooth for my parents. The food is delicious, and the staff is accommodating during meals. I appreciate the welcoming atmosphere, and overall, I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a caring and engaging community for their loved ones.

My mother lives in this community and at first she was hesitant about moving in and she recently told us how much she loves it. The staff have been great at communicating and our move in was very smooth. The food is really good, and I was pleasantly surprised by how many activities there were and how many things really sparked her interest. She loves the exercise classes and the movies and she especially loves the lectures on art and travel. Plus, everything is clean and well maintained and the care she receives here really given me a lot of peace of mind.

My mom lives at the community, and I am pleased with everything. We love her apartment, the management is very responsive and they have been going above and beyond to ensure our move in was successful and easy.

The staff here are very receptive, they answer all of our questions, and they are very responsive. They also provide great meals and enjoyable activities.

I live at the community, it's lovely, people are good at what they do, and I love it here. Management is ever present and totally invested in the community, and the concierge is wonderful. We have an executive chef that comes out and goes around asking people what they're looking for. There is a variety of activities to do and there aren't enough hours in the day. Housekeeping is weekly and my housekeeper is good. The art is beautiful, the furniture is comfortable, and there are multiple seating areas, really everything you would want. I feel safe and comfortable here, and I've been working on getting a friend here.

The staff here have been great and have gone our of their way to welcome us here. They have just been really wonderful. The food has also been wonderful and there are activities that keep her active and involved every day and she is happy with all of that.

I am very happy with my decision to move here because the staff is very good and patient, the food is very good and there are so many activities to do here. The cleaning is also good and the building is very well maintained.

I wasn't expecting all these activites that the community has to offer, they have been very enjoyable. The sales person and she was excellent, her name is Patty and she was very responsive.

It is exceptional. I would recommend anyone to this place. The staff is amazing. Everything is amazing and they are on it. They don't let anything slide or slip. If I have an issue or a problem, they take care of anything. The housekeeping is great. It is always clean when I go in there. The laundry is always hung up when it is done. I never see a mess. They do a great job. The care staff are phenomenal. They talk to us and they explain everything to us. They are always there for her. They make her laugh and if there is a concern, they take care of it.

This community is very nice and very clean and modern and there are nice amenities. I like that my mom has the option to move to assisted living if needed. The management staff have been nothing but accommodating and they answer questions and are very respectful. They were very helpful the day she moved her in. They welcomed her and showed her around. My mom is happy with the food and the menu and the variety on the menu are very good. The activities are well planned and entertaining for the residents. I would definitely recommend this community to others.

My parents living there gives me peace of mind. When my mom pushed her button, a nurse and a CNA were there within a minute to help. They are very attentive and they love the servers. My mom was just telling me about how one of them saw them in the hallways and asked how they were and she was so surprised that he remembered them by name. The management is really great, they have helped a lot!

The staff here are very helpful, accommodating, understanding and they listen and work with us to solve problems. My husband is also happy with the food, there is a wonderful array of activities and the transportation is easy to set up.

It's the nicest facility that I've ever seen. When you walk in, it feels like a hotel which is nice.It's never easy to decide to move you parent. This has made it about as good as it can be made. When I do see photos and I see my dad engaging in the activities, I feel good. He is happy and that's all I really want.

Management keeps you informed and they really do a nice job of running a tight ship. She loves the food, the service is fabulous and she is happy with the variety on the menu. They create excellent activities for the residents and they encourage them. The apartment was brand new when she moved in, the building looks outstanding and the housekeeper is friendly. The transportation services are good and has saved us thousands of dollars. Overall, she feels safe, comfortable, the care staff is excellent and I've already recommended it to a few people.
