The Wentworth at the Meadows

We chose the community because of the availability and mom is interested in the family history center which they have links to there in the building and its location was very convenient. So far I think the management staff have been respectful and really do the best that they can. They have a huge amount of activities posted, not a whole lot she's interested in but they do have a variety and it's up to her to participate or not.

My mom's there and I know the caregivers check on her and take out her trash twice a day. There's games, scenic drives, movies, musical acts that come and perform, and mom will go down for the occasion coffee hour for sweet rolls and coffee, she likes that. There's also crafts and painting. Mom likes the books in the library. She likes Kyle from maintenance, she likes him a lot. He's a fun guy to have around. Mom likes it when she can see other people, like the young people and therapy dogs. She likes it when they feel more integrated with the surrounding community.

The staff is very responsive, attentive and cooperative. We have had nothing but a good experience with them. The food from the dining room is good and nutritious. The servers are very well trained and attentive to the residents. The chef comes out and talks to the residents at almost every meal. There seems to be a wide variety of activities going on and entertainment coming in. Housekeeping is very attentive; they come in a couple times a day to empty the trash. The maintenance has been very attentive to anything they needed done in the apartment. It is taken care of very timely. Dad has used the little response button a couple times and he feels they get there almost immediately.

The thing that I have noticed about this place is they treat people like family. The lady at the front desk is really good. Her name is Linda and she is basically like family. I think the management department is run really well. I am also the president of the residents association. The food here is so good I have gained a lot of weight. I wish they offered more ala carte items. The food quality is wonderful and variety is great. The maintenance department is great. They get back with you within a day. The care staff keeps up with my meds and they get to know everyone pretty personally. They are very responsive and I’m very impressed with the medical aspect of the community.

I tell people it is expensive, but The Meadows of St. George is the best place for my mom, and I want their parents to have that same level of care. I know she is getting good care and I know she is safe, it's the right place for her. Her room is very nice, it's beautiful, it works out great. I'm satisfied with the activities that are there, everything in the building is very well taken care of by maintenance, it's always very clean, and mom says the food is good. Everyone is helpful and friendly, and it’s a beautiful community.

The management was awesome. They always explained things to us and were always so good to us. I got to know them. They were very compassionate with the patients. Stacey was the one that was most helpful. They did a good job with the food too. Elaine was awesome always when my mother-in-law wasn't able to eat. The care and the nursing was really, really good. The people at the front where you sign in were super awesome. Vicki and Hope and those girls were super awesome with all of us. All of the aides and med techs were all very good to us.

I checked out four different places and this was the best place that had the things she wanted. Stacy, the manager, is wonderful when I need help and is available all the time. This community has a huge variety of food and that is a real asset to my mother who is fussy about food. Overall, the food is good. This community offers an excellent variety of activities. The person who is in charge of them always talks to my mom and sees if she wants to come. Housekeeping is excellent and maintenance has been really good. Anytime she has needed help, the maintenance person has come down and helped. He is really helpful. My mother really appreciates the transportation and they do a good job.

I have lived here for a little over two years. The food is nutritional and the activities are excellent, the Director is does a great job, anything I want is there. I use the transportation services two to three times a week and it's been good. The management staff cares and the healthcare services are good.

My mother-in-law moved into The Meadows, we liked the location and word of mouth. The care staff is good, so is housekeeping and maintenance. For what they're doing and what's going on I think it's a good value.

The apartment that my wife is in is very nice. We were able to move in quite a bit of furniture. I have been able to eat some meals there with her and I am satisfied with the food. As an outing, they took them bowling last night. I joined them and had a good time. I am pleased with the service that my wife is receiving from The Meadows and she feels safe and comfortable living here.
