The Wentworth at the Meadows

The VA had some room, so that's why I had to move from here. Everything seemed okay, the activities were good. Management is fine, maintenance was good, and I was satisfied with housekeeping. The care givers were always responsive and friendly. I felt safe and comfortable during my stay.

The management of the Meadows is fantastic. They take care of you. If you are going away for a while they will put your pills together real good. They do everything that they can possibly do to help you. They are very good. If you have a problem they are right on it. They have a small dining room and it is just great. The people there are wonderful and the service is good. The food is great as well as the variety. They clean well. If there is anything wrong they get right to it. The caregivers take care of you and take care of things right away. They are just great. They are respectful and kind.

My loved one is very happy with the dining, the food, the menu, and the wait staff. The activities seem really good, there's always things going on. We’re satisfied with housekeeping and laundry, and maintenance is very good. The care staff is accessible and they are responsive.

My mother has always wanted to move in there. Management was very helpful getting things going when she first moved in. My mom really likes the food there, and the activities are consistent and planned well. Maintenance did some repairs when she moved in, and transportation has been really good. We're still within the first 30 days of use, but we’re satisfied with her apartment, the value, and feel mom is safe there.

Mom has stayed there five or six months at a time over the past three years, and the management is sensitive to her needs, they're very concerned, and they involve her in things. She says the chef does a great job. We’re satisfied with the variety of activities, and the housekeeping. Maintenance helped her set up her television and got things going. I know the care staff she had before were excellent and I think they're excellent now. I know mom is safe and comfortable there, I just appreciate their service.

I am fairly pleased with what is going on over at The Meadows. My wife and I looked at two or three places, but I am sure glad where we ended up there because the services are satisfactory. The management has done extra things for my wife, plus they're respectful, knowledgeable and accessible. The dining and the food is good, they're having the Christmas party on Thursday and I'll get to eat there too. The housekeeping services do a good job cleaning and the two maintenance men there can do anything from electrical to plumbing. Overall, it's a relatively new building at 3 years old, so the building itself is in good shape. My wife takes scenic tours on the bus and the CNAs go out of their way to take care of everybody, they even know my name when I go in there. I try to talk to the healthcare staff every day and they go out of their way to be nice to me, so it's working out for our family.

"My father in law's room was fine for what his need were. The Meadows does provide a lot of activities for the residents. Overall, it was kept clean and maintenance did a good job. They help us move his things out. He built a couple of things for my father-in-law. Like things to make his TV higher. He was very nice. The care staff was friendly and attentive to him as well.

When we were looking for a place to put my mom in we looked at practically every place in the St. George area and ended up choosing this place because it is convenient to my brother The management has been helpful to us. I think the activities are great. It seems like there is enough variety of things for my Mom to do. The maintenance is excellent. She uses the transportation once or twice a week. I think the care is great and wonderful.

Of all these places I looked into for a respite stay, I checked them all out, and The Meadows was the best. I just loved the management; I know I will miss them here. The food was really good, every meal is so delicious. I give the activities a thumb's up. I took the shuttle bus here when I needed to go to medical appointments. It was good service, really good. Housekeeping was good, they washed my clothes and got them back to me and I am really thankful for that. Everything was good with the caregivers. It was a wonderful place to go.

My brother loved it there and was sad to leave. Management did a real good job and I thought the healthcare staff was pretty well informed. It was a very nice facility, I thought they did a great job, the overall design, the staff was good, they knew him, they were helpful. I spoke to the care staff several times over the years and they were always good.
