The Wentworth at the Meadows

My husband and I chose this community because it was the first place to call us and we liked it when we came and saw it. We got a good deal on it which made it possible for us to move in and we have a nice one bedroom apartment here. Everyone in management is great and the dining is great. They have a schedule of activities up by the elevator. There were some issues before we moved in but maintenance got them all fixed up before we moved in. From what I have seen, the building and grounds seem to be well kept. The care givers are great. We haven't needed too much help but the ones that come and check on us are very friendly.

I think management is doing really well. Maintenance has been really good. If I need them for anything in mom's room they are right there.

I love the services at this community and my husband is safe. I think his room is great. It is absolutely beautiful. Vicki, at the front desk, has been very helpful when I call. She is probably the best receptionist this community has. Management is right on top of things. If I have any questions or want anything done, they are right there to help me. My husband is now on hospice and management has been working with them. They have been very helpful and work with me. Michelle is absolutely fantastic. She is probably the best person there and is so helpful. The food they serve is very healthy and I think the housekeeping is excellent. Maintenance got him all set up and that went relatively smoothly. We were having issues with the TV but it turned out that it was my husband hitting the wrong button. They are going to try to put something over that button so he can't hit it anymore. Everything in the building looks good and nice. Maintenance put everything up in his room and it looks really good. The grounds look great. I am sure they will be beautiful in the summer. The caregivers are excellent. He loves Juana. He wanted something to do and has tried to help her with the laundry. It has been a wonderful experience to date.

My friend's mother and father are there and she was really pleased and sent me that way. Then when they had the special price reduction I jumped on it, it fit our budget much better, and mom moved into the community. The room my mom moved into is newly refurbished. I've mostly dealt with Stacy, the Marketing Director, and she has been excellent. She is good at communicating, returning calls, and keeping in touch. She's been very, very good. I've actually several meals there myself and I think the food is very adequate in amount and variety. Not saying it's gourmet, but it's very good food. I think they offer enough activities on the online calendar. In general the community looks good, and her room was clean when we moved in. The care staff is very personable, very good. No complaints. They make it a point to learn everyone's names quickly. She is safe there and we’re satisfied with the value.

A friend recommended the community to me and I've been very happy overall with everything. The transportation services have been great and I don't think you could get anything better than the healthcare staff.

We chose The Wentworth at The Meadows because they had a room special and the fact that her unit has a laundry machine in it, and so far the value is great. Her room is nice, open and spacious, and it worked out with her room being at the end of the hallway because she likes to walk. Management has been great, the dining service is fine and we have been impressed with what is available regarding activities. Her housekeeping is done good and maintenance has been wonderful. We put pictures up and since my husband is an artist who paints, it'd be crazy to ask the maintenance crew to hang pictures, but they did hang an up cabinet in the laundry room, a medicine cabinet in the bathroom and another grab bar in the shower, so they're great. Regarding her care, the lady who gets her up and everything has been wonderful. When I went yesterday, my mother was confused which is normal for her, but the healthcare worker was patient and helped her choose different clothes, so overall it's been a satisfactory experience thus far.

I chose The Meadows at St. George because everything at the community stuck out and so far, I think the value is very good. I used to be a Safety Director at my last company, so that was the first thing I looked at and what I have noticed is that everyone is watching, but what I really think is amazing is that everyone there has a LifeAlert, so if I fall over, I press the button and the staff is there in minutes. In general, I am very impressed with how management runs this place because everyone is engaged and focused on the job. When I sit down and look at the fine young men and women during dining, they're doing a great job with no attitude, courtesy, great positive spirit and are eager to please. I was also in management for many years and what I have noticed there is that whoever built the team in the kitchen did a good job too. In terms of activities, I haven't seen anything that wasn't amazing yet and the exercise classes are geared towards the common denominator. Regarding housekeeping, my place is clean and the staff comes 2 or 3 times a day to take out the trash, which is very important to me, so while I can't say too much about it, to my standards the place is kept clean. The community also keeps very strict safety procedures with transportation, which is nice to see. When the ride is finished, the driver makes sure that everyone is taken care of and once everyone is located, he puts everything in the right order and then delivers your things to your room, so it doesn't get any better than that. With regards to the care services offered, the staff there is wonderful and the caring is amazing. Overall, I think everything at the community is adequate, with a bit more and the factor that makes the community a bit more is the service, the people. I would sincerely recommend The Meadows to anybody and I would do it with pride because I was almost knocked over when first walked in, so it's been an absolute pleasure to our community.

I'm pretty satisfied with everything just the way it is. As far as I'm concerned management is good, the care staff are good, maintenance and housekeeping are very good and laundry is also good and the food is very good here.

Whenever I was there I always thought the food looked good. They do a good job and my mom loves the activities. Those were the things that helped to get her well. She got much better in memory care and so she moved to assisted. It is a beautiful community. They have enclosed the patios and remodeled everything making it nice and lovely.

Management was wonderful, they were very, very nice and I really enjoyed my stay there at the Meadows. They had so many activities, they had everything you could think of, and maintenance was very good, they were right on the ball if you needed something. The transportation services were a joy, they consistently went to my favorite store every week so I liked that. The driver was super friendly and very accommodating to everybody. The healthcare staff was very, very loving and everybody spoke to you and called you by name, which I thought was amazing.
