The Wentworth at the Meadows

His apartment was adequate and good. The halls always smelled good, everything was vacuumed, and the building was well maintained. The managers were very helpful and formed a friendship with my husband. They would always say hi in the hall so we were very pleased. We had a couple of issues; maintenance came right away and fixed them. I was pleased with the housekeeping. They emptied his trash regularly and did very well with the laundry. He was very happy with the meals there and the care givers were very good with him. It was a good value for the money; it's the best place to be!

The community was the place my mother-in-law could go where she could have her dog. The staff have got her doing activities I never thought she would be out doing, she has said everybody is very nice.

My dad’s mother-in-law was there about five years ago, and he just moved in. He seems to be really enjoying the activities and we’re very satisfied with the food and dining staff. Housekeeping is good and when he moved in maintenance had to replace his thermostat, we’re satisfied with that service. He doesn’t have any service from the caregivers other than they check in to make sure he doesn’t miss meals and they've been very good that way. The value is fair, we have no problems at all.

My mom lived in the Assisted Living part and she's been there a year and a half so we knew the people and just thought it would be a wonderful place for my uncle. He loves the food and eats everything on his plate every meal so he's very happy with it. The Activities Director is so nice and wonderful, she's really helpful and I think it's really nice that they take them places. They keep a really good eye on them and are really patient and good with redirecting them, I think they do a really good job. It's a beautiful facility, everybody has been really great.

Everything was really overall, really good. The staff was great and they made sure residents were kept clean. There is a good menu variety, the service is excellent, but they also have so many activities for the residents too, so it was a wonderful experience for them.

We chose the community becuase they have a Memory Care unit so when mom needs it she can transfer into it. The care givers are very observant, caring, and do their job well. Housekeeping is great, they are always emptying the garbage. The front of house managers have been very caring and helpful. Activities are great there and the entire place is very clean. Maintenance has fixed every problem we brought them. I think the value is probably good, mom is comfortable there and we know she is safe.

I chose The Meadows at St. George for my mother because it felt less institutional-like, particularly the dining situation and we have the possibility of Medicaid down the road without having to move. Regarding the dining experience, she really enjoys the dining and while she may not enjoy the social aspect of it, she enjoys the food. Plus, with the prices that we have looked it, I'd say it's probably reasonable at the community. Thus far, the interactions I have had with the healthcare staff have been good and her apartment is beautiful. Maintenance wise, her room is nice and the building is satisfactory. In terms of the activities, they're fine and there are a lot of great things offered, but she isn't really making herself available for them yet. Management has been very responsive and my mother feels both, safe and comfortable at the community.

We chose this community for my mom because it seemed like it was brighter, cleaner and more friendly than others I looked at. It is safe. The residents can't get out and hurt themselves. The management are friendly people who seem to be pretty knowledgeable and good. I think the food is good and the staff do a lot to get the residents out and doing things. Her room always looks clean. Whenever I go over there the floors and counters are clean. Maintenance helped and got her TV hooked up right away. Everybody has been really friendly and caring. They get her up and doing things.

I've visited different places throughout the city for a while and have had friends live in them, I always felt like the Meadows was the best of all of them so when it became time for my husband to come in here I didn't even think or look at any of the others. I've been impressed with the housekeeping services and maintenance was right there to get everything in order for us when we first came in, they were prompt and very good. They have wonderful management and the healthcare staff has been so kind, sweet, and gentle.

This community is nice and the price is not too bad. So far it is safe and the room is very nice. Management is doing quite well and the food is good. They have a separate selection that I can order from to get food. Everything is fine with the maintenance. The caregivers are very good and do well. They find me if I need medication. They bathe my wife and get her clothes out for when she wears them. It is very good. I don't know if there is anything else better in the area and I am very happy here.
