Valley View Gardens

I think what they charge to the level of care that she gets is in line with what healthcare is today. Management is amazing and the care staff is very attentive. They call and text me any time any little thing happens and I love that they're not afraid to communicate with me. The activities are good and the staff gets involved with the residents and makes sure the residents participate in the activities they're able to. Housekeeping is really good about making sure the correct clothes get to her room and everything is super clean, nothing smells. Maintenance is always working on this place and going around touching up paint and making sure everything is working properly.

Management is definitely great; they're very communicative and friendly. My father seems very happy with the food and from what I've tried it seems to be really good, the service is really good as well. They seem to have a lot of activities that my father can join in on. The care staff is very friendly. He gets along with the care staff really well and they're always joking around with him.

In regards to the management, every time we have had a question or there has been a couple of minor things that have happened they were always calm and answered it to our satisfaction. I know there is quite a variety on the menu. I have discussed breakfast with them because my mom is picky and they had alternates for her to choose from. Part of the reason why we picked there is that they keep them in the main dining room and the adjoining room for activities so most of the people are not in their rooms throughout the day. Pretty much all the rooms are open as you walk down the hall. They have a med tech that always answers my questions. There is a care giver every time I have visited I have seen taking care of her. They seem to be pretty attentive.

I think what we really saw was a family feeling. The staff understood our needs and my mother’s needs. Everybody there is really friendly. Every time I go there the staff greets me and they know my mother’s name by heart. For the time I am not there I know they treat my mother well. In regards to the management, they listen and they did a great job at assisting me with getting paper work for the admission. Everyone from the marketing from the administrator was willing to help because they knew I had a lot on my plate already. Their assistance with me was huge too. The food is very good. You can tell it is not processed or reheated. The meals are very good. I haven’t seen the same thing twice. The maintenance staff is very accommodating. They put the bed together for her. They really make sure that they keep it as a good atmosphere. They keep it very clean. There is plenty of care staff around. I have looked at other places where it is almost nil for 50 people. There is never a time when I don't see someone available. There is always someone around and they are extremely friendly there.

I was very pleased with Valley View Gardens, they were recommended by APlaceForMom.com and the staff was all very caring and compassionate. I hope that if I end up somewhere, I end up in Valley View Gardens because the staff went out of the way to meet the needs of the people and not their own needs. Everyone in management answered and anticipated all my questions, so it gave me a real sense of comfort knowing that the staff was there and that they we're attentive. The premises were very pleasing, I can't recall anything that was out of order and everybody in the healthcare department there went above and beyond the call of duty. There was one lady in particular who jump in when there was a need and she just amazed me. Even when it was time for her break, she saw that the resident's needs took priority over that and she always went out of her way, so she just had so much compassion. All in all, it was a positive experience for my aunt.

I really admire the facility and the reason I chose Valley View Gardens for my mother is because it's 100% Alzheimer's care and the residents can go outside, walk around the building and have more of their freedom. The value is also very good. They have great activities and I like that they have something to do for the residents every day. My mother seems to get a lot of enjoyment out of the activities. The building is well maintained in general, the outside is very well manicured and very clean. The care staff are very good with the residents.

Valley View Gardens is a very comfortable place and a good value in relationship to many of the other care places that are out there. They definitely go the extra mile for their residents. The food is very good, they present the food in a very attractive manner and it's tasteful. The staff does a very good and exceptional job with the activities. The healthcare team gives exceptional care and has exceptional people and it's a very difficult job to take care of all of these residents.

Everybody is friendly at this community. The staff know who I am and greet me with a smile. This community has staff at the community 24/7 and that seems to work very good. The management seems to be knowledgeable in what they are doing and they are helpful in problems I have had. Sarah and Adrianna at the front desk are very capable people and are able to answer my questions or handle situations. The food is enjoyable and seems to be well balanced. Rose, in the kitchen, seems to be doing a very good job. The servers are efficient. It look likes the staff try to engage all the residents in some activity there. What the staff does is very good. Betsy, the one in charge of doing the activities, is doing very good. My wife's room is always clean and I do not seem to get any offensive odors at this community. The building is maintained well. Sharon and Daisy seem to have primary care of my wife. They are always able to answer questions I have about my wife. The charge nurse does a good job. The caregivers seem to be very attentive of the residents and they care for everybody. I am happy with the care she is getting.

We pay a lot of money but I would say we get what we pay for it. I priced homes before and you can get a lot less but I am very satisfied with everything that we get. It is a small management team and I deal Adrianna primarily. She handles the finances there and answers the phones. Anyone I have dealt with there do a very good job and they are courteous. Every time I go there they have a group in the rec room and there will be music playing or they will be watching a movie. I get the program every month and there are a lot of activities. The maintenance people are really good. The place is pretty close to being immaculate. The care givers that are off the charts are Claudia and Maggie. I would highly recommend Valley View Gardens.

The management staff are personable and friendly and they seem to care. The healthcare staff communicate well, they usually call if there is any problem and they need my help. They're always very professional and nice so I feel like there's good communication. I've been impressed with the activities. There are usually activities going on during the day, he talks about the activities and seems to enjoy them. He seems to enjoy the different activities and I'm very impressed with the parties. There are fun events they invite families to and it's very nice, they had a band. Every time I walk in, there's something going on and I think that's really important for the resident.
