Valley View Gardens

I have been satisfied with the price, services and accommodations provided to my mother at Valley View Gardens. Management keeps me informed of what is going on and advise me on any issues and the healthcare staff seem to take care of problems, keeping me informed on his status. There's plenty of fresh food and they accommodate several different diets, I always see them with some kind of activity and maintenance seems to be fine, so all in all my mother is safe and comfortable at the community.

The management staff at Valley View Gardens is respectful, knowledgeable, accessible and responsive. The food is always good and the activities are great. They do a number of different things with different people involved. Regarding cleanliness and maintenance, the housekeeping is fine and I used maintenance a couple months ago with a good result. In terms of my mother, her care and nursing is good, so I have no complaints and we have been satisfied with the services and accommodations provided to her, she feels safe and comfortable at the community.

My mom is very happy there. She has made lots of friends and she doesn't ask to leave. The first day I brought mom in, everyone greeted her by name when she came in. She thought that was really nice and it made her happy. The dining room isn't super fancy but the food is really good. I had the soup and it was delicious. The activites director, Betsy, is awesome. She sends me photographs of the things my mom is doing. She has even set it up so I can Facetime my mom. They put headphones on her so she can hear me. I really was impressed with that. The rose gardens they have there are wonderful for people who like to get outside. They care staff is very cheerful and touch people in a nice way. They talk to them lovingly, which is great. For the first time in five years I am content and she is stable and happy.

The managment are all very professional, kind and helpful. They gave us good advice on how to proceed with leaving mom at the community. I feel she is well cared for by the care staff. They do seem to genuinely care for her. The menus that I see from the dining department look good. The food doesn't seem to repeat and I have also been impressed with the fresh fruit snacks they serve the residents. I would say for us it has been a God send

My mother has lived in the community for about three months. I am really happy with the care she receives there, they give me the peace of mind I need. Everyone there is very attentive and willing to help the residents with anything they need.

My brother has lived in the community for three months. I really liked the place from the first time I went to look at it. They keep the building and apartments clean. My brother likes the food there. He was having trouble eating before going there and is now eating really well because of the care and how they are working with him.
