Thunderbird Senior Living

My mom is living at Thunderbird and I think it's all very good at the community, from price to services and accommodations. I have had no issues with management and haven't heard her complain about them either, so they've been respectful and responsive. The dining service is excellent, as are the activities offered at the community. My mom does go down for special events in the lobby, so she does like participating in those activities. I am satisfied with the consistency of housekeeping services offered and while I haven't looked closely, everything I walk by at the community is clean, kept up and maintained very well. Overall, I am pleased with the community.

This community has a big lobby for socializing. None of the other places had that. We ended up staying here because my dad had friends here and enjoyed that lobby. The location for him is really great as well The director, Sherry, is accessible and responsive. The service in the dining room is excellent and the food is pretty good. The activities are also pretty good. The building is kept up really nice and the laundry facilities seem fine.

My mom's room seems to be very clean every time we go there. You have a lot of great activities for the residents and the service in the dining room is great. We tell everyone about this place.

I think my mom stays pretty busy, pretty active. I even went to bingo last week, how crazy am I? There seems like there are plenty of activities. Maintenance is pretty good. She hasn't had any work done recently but what she has had done was pretty timely compared to the last ownership.

My mom's very happy with the staff, the living arrangements, and the friends she’s made there. Mom loves the dining and the servers have a good personality. She's happy with the food, it's good, she never has a problem with not getting enough so she's very happy. Her apartment is clean, housekeeping is good. Mom uses the transportation a little and she's very happy with that. They treat her right. I think they're good, she's very happy.

My parents love it there, they are involved in several activitites and they know just about everybody in the whole place. The dining is very good all the way across the board. I'm very pleased with the whole facility.

I would say the community is a good value. I think the dining services are good based on the institutional environment they have to work in. I think the activities are good and I think my aunt overall would say the same thing. She is very happy with the laundry and she thinks they do a good job with the housekeeping and maintenance as well. She has used the transportation services and found them to be good.

I can tell you my loved one is much happier now than when she moved in. The activities are great. My loved one is constantly complementing them, and there's a number of activities available to her. She has been really satisfied with the housekeeping, and I think they’re doing a great job with building maintenance. It's clean, kept-up, and nothing is broken, no paint is peeling. She does use the shuttle bus frequently and loves it. I think the value is great, my loved one is safe there, and I know she’s comfortable. She comments now that it's a nice place and she enjoys living there.

I have looked at other facilities and for the price she's paying, I think she's receiving a fair value and fair benefits for that. I've eaten there a couple times; the Sunday brunches are fantastic. I've seen the list of activities and I think they do a good job with them. Housekeeping is good, my mom's apartment is always clean and laundry seems to be going well, things are clean; the property seems to be taken care of.

My parents have been there for a little over a year and they do feel safe and they do like it. They do a good job with the activities, they have a lot going on, and I think the housekeeping is very good.
