Thunderbird Senior Living

She looked at different places and I think it is one of the nicer ones around. I think it is a good value. I do think they do a lot of stuff. They have a lot of activities and she did enjoy the one she did a lot. From what I can see it looks clean. The overall community is clean.

I think the value is good at the community. The wait staff in dining is always excellent. Tonya, in dining, is always open to suggestions. The houskeeeping comes on the days they are supposed to and do a good job cleaning the apartment. The laundry does a very good job also. I think the activities are good and they have a good variety.

I asked the people that I volunteer with if they knew of a decent place in the area that I could take a look at and they recommended this. You could be busy every hour of every day if you wish to be, I like all the exercises, I've tried all of the different classes, they play a lot of cards and have a nice library. I generally think they have a lot of things for you to do and the bus is great, the driver is very helpful and cautious. I'm also very pleased with my housekeeper.

This community provided a lot of services and the price was fair based on everything that they provided for us. I love my apartment and I am very sad that I have to leave it. I wish I did not have to but I could not afford the assisted living there. Management is always nice and polite and the food is really excellent. They always had good food and it was served promptly. The staff is so polite. This community has a lot of things available to do. They have everything. They have bingo and crafts. They transport you to different stores. They have a dermatologist come in and a veterinarian come in to care for the dogs living here. The staff is all friendly and does awesome. Housekeeping came in every week and would vacuum, dust, mop and clean the bathroom. If you call and say you need something fixed, maintenance almost always came that day. They were right on top of fixing everything. They were just awesome. The grounds are really pretty. It is really pleasant. Everybody at this community was very sweet, kind and caring. am so happy that they allow people to bring their pets. That is an awesome thing because we all love our pets like they are family. That was wonderful.

I know there are a lot of new places but I like the location for my dad because it's near his old neighborhood. I think the caregivers at the community are all pretty friendly.

What I like about it is that when you go outside there is an outside place to go. You have garden spots. Some of the other places I looked at you are in the parking lot and there is no place to be. The thing I like most about it is that you can walk outside and sit in the nice chairs and you can enjoy the outdoors without being on the street. The garden spot on the west side is my favorite. They have the ponds. I love the fish and the ducks. I wish they would leave the ducks there; they are so friendly and so sweet. It is so peaceful and it is a real plus for this place. I like the dining room very much. The food is good. I don't have any complaints. The staff is very nice and very efficient. The housekeeping is good. They are always here on time and they do a nice job.

I like the care staff, they'll just see my mom and ask if she's ok and I really appreciate them. When I need to I'm moving into Thunderbird. This place seems nicer, more organized and more compact so everything is right there an available.

The community is good and they do their best to satisfy everyone. Mom loves the housekeeper and thinks she does a wonderful job. I have good communication with management going. The girls at the front desk are awesome. We are satisfied with the food in dining, the activities and maintenace as well. Mom is happy here and I don't think we could have found a better place for her.

I am satisfied with the services and accommodations my mother receives at Thunderbird. She fell a couple of weeks ago and they had to help her get up and all that, so I find it to be good because when she lived alone beforehand I would have to go get there. The safety, security and support available 24/7 is hard to put a value on things so personally, I am happy she is there and I think she is in a good place. She seems to enjoy the activities, I know my mother participates and enjoys both Wii bowling and Bingo at the community, so it's been a good fit. Everything looks nice all the time, it's well maintained and the housekeeping is very satisfactory, the place always looks nice when I visit so it has been a good experience for our family.

My father just really, really enjoys Thunderbird and he has friends he meets every morning for breakfast, and again for dinner, so it's like he is socializing again and it just warms up my heart. I have no regrets with putting my dad there and it makes me feel so good because he is settled, he is happy and he is healthy which means the world to me. Management seems to be very on the ball and we haven't had a lot of interaction with them because everything is really smooth which is good, it's been a great environment. The activity people absolutely work so hard to come up with all different kinds of programs, entertainment and fun things to do so they definitely have the residents' as their main concern. My dad is 92 years old and he used to live alone without leaving his house which was very sad so I talked him into going there and now he plays poker 3 nights a week, exercise 5 times a week, Tai Chi and Zumba. He just loves all the exercise classes that are offered. It's always clean, the maintenance guys are constantly taking out dead flowers, the lobby is clean and picked up, the dining room is clean and picked up, and they just really keep up with it so it just looks real nice. Overall, I absolutely am blessed to have found a place like this because it's really nice and my dad really likes it.
