The Sheridan at Lakewood Ranch

We are very satisfied and were fortunate to get a two bedroom apartment. The food and activities are good and anything that you need or request, the management is right on it.

We are fine with the price. It was the best set up for my mother and it was similar in price to other places. They do fine with the dining and my mother enjoys the food. They definitely have a lot of good activities, her laundry is taken care of pretty well and her care has been pretty good. The caregivers are responsive and the manager in memory care is good.

We have been very happy here and very well treated. The team all the way around is doing very well and meeting all of our needs. The food is excellent. The library is also excellent. They are doing our laundry and they are doing a very good job. We have been very happy with the care. We are very thankful for the excellent food management. We are treated like VIP's.

The community, grounds and everything is nice, so I like to walk around the building when I visit her. The healthcare services are good. The management is doing a good job, my interactions with them have been excellent and when I am there, they are always on top of things, so I have been happy with The Sheridan.

The housekeepers keep things pretty clean. The caregivers do a good job. I can't think of a whole lot that they could do much better; I think we get a pretty good value.

It has been a short time but so far they have been extremely responsive and seem to be very caring people. My mom seems to like the food and that is all that counts. I know they try to keep her involved. I would like to commend Courtney. I think she is a really good asset for them.

My brother and sister-in-law chose The Sheridan because of the people there, the apartment being nice and light, and everyone was so friendly. It was just a good choice. The managers are excellent at advising us and working with my brother and sister-in-law. The care staff are very, very knowledgeable and wonderful people who seem friendly and nice.

Overall, all the teams members function very well as a unit. They are really communicating to each other all over the place. They walkie talkie people to where they are needed. They are a good team. I have actually eaten with mom and a couple ladies a couple times and the food was good. Better than the average fare at other places like that. I do see a list of activities every day and I see a lot going on in the common area. She is very happy with the housekeeping and laundry service. The building is very nice. The care she gets is very good. The nurses have been good about communicating with me when there was a need.

Both my wife and I are very satisfied here. We have enjoyed this place immensely and I think we are getting a true value here. Our apartment is most convenient. We are very pleased with this community.

I was satisfied with the value during my father's time there. We were there from when it first opened so his price has not gone up significantly at all. I ate there a number of times. I have eaten all three meals at different points in time when my Dad lived there and it was good. Dad liked the food. They made a point to get him out to do things with activities. He wasn't always willing to try things with the people. Some of the entertainment they brought in I thought was really good. The performers gave a nice mix. For the most part, his clothes were pretty well taken care of and his apartment was kept in good shape. The care staff were pretty attentive and made sure he had what he needed for the most part.
