Park Place Senior Living at WingHaven

I think my mother in law enjoys a lot of those activities, it's really a nice touch, it gives her things to look forward to and the people who run it are nice, she always knows what's coming up. She's used the transportation services for the activities and that's gone very well. She has somebody clean her apartment every week or two weeks and there are no complaints there. Every time I've been there, it's very nice.

I just thought it seemed like Park Place met all my mom's needs. The staff is very friendly, it’s very warm, and mom is comfortable there. She feels like a queen. Lots of bright windows, and nice view. On her first visit my mom was almost overwhelmed at how lovely it was and how nice everyone was. I know it's rare to get a positive reaction from your family member, but mom said, "This is where I need to be. There’s a lot do to, meals are good, and I'm being treated like a queen." That was very nice. I think there are a lot of activities, and I think the food is very good. Mom is happy with the food, and the choices. She loves that they will bring her breakfast up. The day we brought my mom in to visit, we were invited to lunch which was nice, and our waitress was just adorable to my mom. All the wait staff I have found to be very helpful and encouraging. We're pleased with her apartment's proximity to the nurses' station and elevator. I think the value is very good. The building has lots of light. Nice and bright, not dark and dreary. It's lovely, very good. I think the care is very good, and management is pretty good. They've been responsive, they return any calls we've made. Becky, the Sales Manager, she was incredibly helpful. I think right now we're learning, and people have been very responsive. Whenever I have questions they call me back. I feel they have been responsive, helpful, and patient. They've been really good and we appreciate that.

I think things are going really well for my mom. Everyone seems to be very concerned with how my mom is doing all of the time, they check in on her constantly and they're just over the top helpful. The price is very reasonable. Management is always really quick to respond to any kind of questions that we have. My mom says the week is packed really well with a lot of activities to do. My sister's and I are very satisfied with her care; the care staff is doing a terrific job.

The activities are pretty good and so far they look alright. Housekeeping vacuums and cleans his room regularly. The nurses have been fantastic there. Their communication with me has been spectacular. They are doing a great job with my dad.

All in all, I think it's a fine value. They have good people behind the desk. I don't have any complaints with any of the people working in the office at all. I really like the Happy Hour. That is a huge benefit to give them that independence. They are having a nice time. They love the glass of wine before dinner and I hope that continues. I think they do a good job with the activities. I think they are well thought out for that group. They offer a lot of nice things. The transportation is a blessing. My aunt is able to go to church on Sunday morning. She can go to Walgreen's and Walmart and those type of things.

I am very pleased with the woman that runs the community. She is the person that everyone goes to with anything. She is excellent and doesn't let anything fall through the cracks. They do offer a lot of activities and they seem to be mostly popular. The people in housekeeping do a good job. They have three huge buildings to take care of and they do a good job. I have only used the laundry service once and I found it to be fine. Occasionally, I use the bus to go grocery shopping. The drivers are extremely helpful and that means a lot to me. Overall, I think it's a great place to live.

My mom is busy all of the time and she's loving every minute of it, mom just loves all of the activities. Housekeeping takes care of her room and maintenance is just fine. My mom is happier than I've seen her in two years. Whatever activities she's in, the people that live there, she just gets along with everybody, the staff is good to her and virtually we have no complaints.

I am very satisfied with the community. I initially chose it for my mom based on the proximity of it to my home and that has been very nice. I think she is really happy being there. She plays bingo and goes to the teas they have. She attends the exercise class a couple days a week. I'm glad they have them and I say the more the merrier. I know that she gets her housekeeping and laundry done on a regular basis. They come in and make her bed daily, they clean twice a week and it looks fine. I know she gets whatever she wants washed whenever she needs it. I think it all looks really good. Everything in her apartment works fine. The overall look of the community both inside and outside looks very good.

I chose this community because it was convenient to a lot of the places that I go to and the people are very friendly. The management is very nice and they seem to be genuinely interested in making your stay pleasant. The food and dining service is very good and they seem to have quite a variety of different things offered on the menu. Today was the first time that housekeeping cleaned and they did pretty good. I can't do all of the activities that they have available in one week. They seem to have a pretty good amount of entertainment and a lot of people like to play games and I also enjoy things like that.

I think that the leadership team goes above and beyond always to provide services that we wouldn't expect to be done and they have such a great relationship with my mom and us. The food that we get is really good. When they added the choice between the lunch and the dinner that was a big plus. Brenda is our cleaning lady. She goes above and beyond developing a relationship with my mom. She lets us know if she is not going to be right on time which makes a really big difference. She does a phenomenal job cleaning. It is awesome to have the 24 hour concierge service. My mom left the phone off the hook and instead of driving over there we called and had them check on her. It is phenomenal that they have the Envision service. For us it has been a true benefit for safety reasons.
