Park Place Senior Living at WingHaven

I would definitely recommend people there, my mother feels very safe and comfortable at Park Place. The building looks good. The foyer and entryway are always clean and look good. They always decorate it nice for whatever holiday is coming up. Mom loves the housekeeping. She says the people are so nice. She enjoys the activities, she loves playing pachinko or whatever that's called. She says when they have music it's really good. She says there's usually something. Her favorite thing is the music, when they have the bands that play older music. Mom's got a nice place, they take care of her, she's fed, and if she needs something they are there for her. I've never had a problem with Park Place. She's had to go to the hospital a couple of times and they worked with her on that and checked on her when she got home.

My mom is safe, the place is clean, I think it's a beautiful property and the people are very friendly at Park Place. Debbie in management is excellent, she's very friendly, she engages with the residents and they feel welcomed with her. Debbie truly cares about the residents like they're her family. They offer lunches now and that's really nice for the residents. Everyone seems to have enough food and the dining servers are excellent. Sometimes there are too many activities for the residents to partake in. Gary and Russ in maintenance are great and are very responsive. The van driver is excellent, he's so good and sweet.I love everyone, including Debbie, Cindy, Kim, Melony, Kinzie, Alice, they're just a great group of people and I thank them for welcoming my mom so much.

My mom is very pleased with the management at Park Place at WingHaven. Mom loves the trips, she attends the exercise classes and she's very active. My mom uses transportation for the Wednesday trips, doctors appointments and she'll occasionally go to the department store or Walgreens. This makes the money we pay worth it to have transportation available. Overall this has been perfect for my mom and everyone is happy with what mom is receiving at this community.

My mother moved into this community because of the location, price and we liked that they also had assisted living and memory care. The price is adequate. Management is helping us out quite a bit. Anytime I call them up, they take care of the problem. She likes the food. This community offers quite a bit of activities. The building is well maintained and as far as I know, transportation has been a good experience.

It has been now 34 years since my father moved in and I think the management is always courteous, friendly and willing to help. I think the activities are good. They seem to have something going all the time. I think the housekeepers do a real good job. I have never seen any clutter or things not being done. The price is satisfactory and he is safe and comfortable here.

My parents and I looked at other places and I would day this was one of the more reasonable places. We didn’t skimp on anything. For the price it's a really good place. Their apartment is nice. Mom and dad haven’t even been there a year yet, and everyone I've ever interacted with there has been very friendly, helpful, and personable. The managers know who my parents are, so anytime I ask a question they know who I am talking about. I feel they care about what they're doing, they care about the residents, and they're in touch with who is in the community. My mom has talked about how much she likes the food. Whenever I've interacted with anyone involved with activities, they are knowledgeable and friendly. Dad goes to some groups and Mom enjoys bingo. They go to the movie theater there. Anytime they've done any activity they've had positive things to say about it. I know they've been happy with the housekeepers. Mom and dad use the shuttles to doctors' appointments. I think they've used the Town Care once or twice as well. They’ve had nothing but positive things to say about the transportation. Dad sees a physical therapist through Envision Wellness. They have an office there in the community. Anna, who is in charge of that, is amazing. She sends me emails on a regular basis on how my dad is doing and what he needs. Dad really likes the chiropractor. I'm happy with the care and services we get and they're happy there.

My parents are very happy at Park Place. Mom and dad seem to really like the food. I talk to them every day and they seem to like every meal. The chef is receptive to suggestions for specials. My mother seems to get along with the management team well, and goes down for trivia and activities like that. The transportation service is accommodating and convenient, and they're open to having groups use the it, like if a bunch of residents want to go to Target or somewhere. I know the housekeeping comes up, mom is friends with the housekeepers, and they get along. Laundry doesn’t apply to them because they have a penthouse, which is a very nice unit. Mom and dad had to use maintenance, and maintenance was receptive and took care of any and all needs they had. Health Angels comes in, and they're available, they're conscientious, and they have lots of services available if you need them. My mom and dad are happy there.

Any dealings I have had at the mangement level on behalf of mom have been handled very quick and very thorough. I am very pleased with the activities department. Mom is in the memory unit and it is just better when the commuity offers the activities in that department. It gives them life and movement, something those residents need. There are some really excellent people working in the area of care here. The core staff of nursing assistants is really good. All in all, we have been satisfied.

My mom loves living in this community! My grandaughter thinks the building looks like Belle's castle. The Director is very accessible to the residents. Maintenance has been very good about anything my mom needs, right down to hanging pictures. My mom is also very happy with the menu variety that they have and the dining servers are great. I have to schedule appointments to go see my mom because she's so busy with all of the activities that are going on.

The staff here has done an outstanding job with my mother. They have always been responsive and available to me when I have a question or concern. She says the food is delicious. They do a great job of keeping my mother active with all the activities they offer. She loves to play games and they have a lot of them. She doesn't want to miss out on any game. I have never had to worry about how the care is here. They always seem to do what they can to make sure mom is comfortable.
