Park Place Senior Living at WingHaven

I think my mom is very safe and seems very happy and comfortable here. After 8-8:30 pm, the doors are locked and you have to have a resident pass key to come in. I like how no one could just come in off the street. That is very nice. She paid more at her previous place and the other place was not as well taken care of. She was embarrassed to invite people there. She is in a nicer place, has a beautiful view and is paying less than she was. She is actually saving money being here. She is getting much more for less money. I see that the residents are happy here and I can't think of one thing that stands out to complain about.

A big positive that everyone talked about was the happy hour that was offered every day. That was a big event whether they drank or not. They liked the socialization, fun and camaraderie and this community is the only one that offers it. The servers in the dining room were amazing and put up with a lot. Maintenance was always on top of issues. The price was equal to the area and her apartment here was better than a lot of the other places we looked at.

I chose this location for my aunt because of the location to my house and I liked the all inclusive pricing they did instead of the point system. The management was very helpful to me getting all the paperwork done. Becky would work with me. I would call her and tell her I was tied up and couldn't get there until a later time and she would say it was no problem. She made it really easy and I didn't have to worry about it The housekeeping and maintenance has been good. They have been attentive to her needs. I am glad there is an in house physician and special nurses on each floor. That way someone is able to check on her when she has issues that need attention.

I have been happy with my mother-in-law living in Park Place Senior Living at Winghaven. They have a lot of activities to do and they include the families often, which is nice. The building maintenance at the community is satisfactory and housekeeping has been good, with laundry being satisfactory as well. In terms of transportation, the condition of the vehicles, flexibility and consistency of service has remained satisfactory. Regarding the dining experience, the servers are very nice and the dining room is clean every time I am there, so I am overall satisfied with the services provided to her. Management has also been respectful, knowledgeable, accessible and responsive, so it's been a great experience overall.

I have no complaints with management. I am always active with an activity they have. I never stop. The maintenance workers are great. When you need something they are here. I am pleased with the services that I receive here. I lived here previously for six years and moved out but came back because I liked it here so well.

The nurses here have been very nice, they're all very sweet and conscientious. The housekeeping is fine, I like having ones you can depend on every week. Management seems very competent, we get our bills on time and they respond when you call. I think everybody here is very nice and accommodating, there's not a person here that's disagreeable, even the residents are nice.

It's in the same ballpark as every other place around here. The dining staff is very friendly and helpful, they do an excellent job with the residents. The calendar is full of stuff for my dad to do and it's well thought out. The healthcare staff is very good, they make sure everything is complete and in order. My dad feels he's comfortable and safe there and he enjoys the staff, the people there are doing an excellent job.

I think the value is good for what is being received. There are plenty of activities for mom to participate in. I think all the people that work on the activities work very hard. I have been impressed at how hard they work to make it good for all the people. I like the new carpet and painting they have done at the community. I think it looks great; everything looks nice and clean.

My dad's in independent and when we compare his expenses to when he lived at home to Park Place it's comparable, so I would say it is equal value. With mom in Assisted, I think we are getting what we pay for. There are plenty of things to do if they choose to do that. Dad's not really a card player, but he does partake in some things, mom does too. The Activities Director's seem enthusiastic and nice and engaging. It seems like there is always something going on. The building itself smells clean. I use the public restrooms and it seems like they are always freshly cleaned. Dad mentioned they have a new housekeeper and he said "she's a real cleaner." Overall, the grounds look very nice and when we have needed maintenance, they have been helpful. In terms of care, everything they do they do with a smiling face and a kind heart. I haven't had any complaints about that.

It's been consistently good since my grandmother moved in. The care is very good. What she eats is better than what I eat at home. My grandmother is very happy and always going to activities, and she uses the transportation all the time. I have been there several times of day and it’s always clean and never smells. She's had a couple of issues and both times the maintenance guys were extremely attentive to it. The staff are all consistently very good, and I feel we 100% get what we pay for.
