Morningside House of Ellicott City

So far, we've had a good experience. The nursing staff is accessible and respectful, the food is good, and the management staff is communicative. I know that my mother is safe and comfortable in the community.

The care is wonderful, their transportation vehicle is satisfactory and the building is spotless. They have a board with daily activities and it appears like there is something for everyone. Their dining service is top notch and management definitely have been awesome with their communication in terms of letting me know what is happening or any changes happening to the residents, so I would absolutely recommend it to others.

The mangement staff are extremely helpful and very easy to work with. They are willing to help keep things clean and readily available if you need maintenance. The staff is is kind and caring and we are very pleased.

I really adore the people that work there in memory care, I think they are the greatest. The building is well kept. The housekeeping is good and the laundry is done once a week. They try really hard in activities to keep them all entertained and he loves to go on the bus rides.

This place has been wonderful for my wife. The accommodations and services offered are excellent, especially the variety of entertaining activities and the excellent response times of all staff members. I am very happy with the value of the community.

The dining is excellent. My dad is a picky eater and he really likes the food. The activities are fabulous. There is always something going on. I think the care is good. The first day that we moved in the person that we came in contact with was Edith. She made sure everything was in order in terms of medication and other things like that.

We looked at twelve places last year and the value is really good. We knew right away it was the right place for my aunt. Her apartment is just fine, it's a one bedroom and she’s in Memory Care. I think food and dining is fine, my aunt never complains and finishes everything on her plate. I think the care is pretty good, the care givers are very friendly. I have found many people to be helpful there.

The Director is so compassionate and always follows through. My dad raves about the food and the outings are great. They have music in the lobby and wine tastings, the activities are engaging and available and residents like them. Housekeeping is pretty good and there’s never bad smells in the building. The care givers are very good and really help get things done pronto when his doctor orders it.

My parents seem to like the food. My mom will get my dad to do things and so far we are happy with the activities. They have been good about laundry and their floors have been washed once a week. It is pretty clean. The aides have been quite nice and mom likes them.

Management made onboarding very easy. They have some really great people there; all the staff I interact with is great and supportive. My mom is very happy with the food, décor in the rooms, location and the feeling of the place.
