Meridian at Ocean Villa

I think overall it's just fine with her. The important things are covered. She's happy and safe. I think it's a good place for her. The staff is good and caring.

We chose the community for my husband because of the location. The care givers are very good, the apartment seems clean, and the activities are great. The musical activities are popular. We're very pleased with the services. The price is comparable to the cost of other area communities, but the service is better.

The healthcare staff seem to be very caring and kind. I've been extremely happy with how accommodating they are when I visit. People were super nice, I never felt like I was in the way, and that was in contrast to the place my mother stayed before where they always wanted you to leave the room,.The dining presentation is fantastic, they always have cloth napkins, nice china and silverware, it's always clean and presented beautifully. I think housekeeping does a good job, the building is very well maintained.

One of the reasons we chose this for her is for the added space compared to other places in town and it looks great. I think everyone is very thoughful and caring and it is top of the line. The staff go out of their way to comment on things that they think are issues, so it has been very good.

Vladimir and Tina have done a good job at keeping the staff motivated. They are all excellent. The activities are pretty good and the maintenance of the apartment is good. I feel like it is a good facility for my mom.

I think I get my value for what I pay for. The apartment is a big enough room for one person. Generally speaking, the food is pretty good. The transportation works good and easy to schedule. The quality of people, they are very courteous and friendly people.

My cousin has a nice bright room and plenty of room for her belongings at Meridian at Ocean Villa, so I think it's been a nice place for her. I am satisfied with the services and accommodations provided to her, and overall management seems to create a nice environment for her. She looks really good, so she has been really been liking the food and variety of menu. When I talk to the staff, they tell me she participates in most activities and by virtue of when I visit; her room is kept clean and tidy. Her clothes are kept clean and nothing is ever broken when I am there, so the community is very nice all around and well maintained. Regarding her care, the healthcare staff seems to be on top of everything and they communicate, from a medical point, whenever there is something going on with my cousin, saying that they're watching, so I am satisfied with them. Overall, she is happy to be there and always has been.

I feel the value is here. It is a corporation. Meridian is in 22 states so they understand what assisted living is and the geriatric community. The management is fine. They have been very good about working with me to get the money together to fund mom's stay. The food is very good. They have a gourmet chef so it is very nice. I love it. There are plenty of activities. The building is very beautiful. The gardening and exterior of the building is immaculate. It is right on the beach. The care staff has to come in every two hours and check on mom and they are very diligent with that. So far, so good!

Management has been great to me and my mother. They are pretty accessible and responsive. As far as I know everything seems to be clean and I think laundry is pretty good. Everyone seems amenable, nice, and friendly in Memory Care. All in all, my mom seems to be really happy there.

I chose it for the location, size of it, and I felt they're able to provide the appropriate care level mom needs. The experience has been great. The managers are attentive. If something is wrong they call me immediately and bring me into the loop. The dining services have been very accommodating. I feel pretty good about the value. She's fine here, she's safe, and people are attending her.
