Mansion at Waterford Assisted Living

We chose Mansion at Waterford for my mother because it's a nice place. The staff seemed very caring and attentive, and it's also close to where we live. So far, the management has been good and I don't know when the new management took over, in the last few years sometime, but it's clearly a nice place and there have been no problems. Activity wise, they provide opportunities for residents to get together and meet other people there, so the activities are well planned. I spoke with the activity staff yesterday and they gave me the calendar for January, so it's helpful to know they have all different types of activities offered. The housekeeping seems to be really good and someone came to do her laundry, with also changing her sheets, so that was great. In regards to maintenance, the community really is a nice place and well kept. There was one issue before she moved in where the front door didn't close properly, but the maintenance immediately took care of it after bringing it to their attention. Also, the care provided by the healthcare staff is very good and we have been real pleased them too because they're always very polite, so my mom appreciates them a lot. Overall, the value my mother receives at the community seems to be reasonable compared to the other places that we were looking at.

For more than two weeks we toured about every place in town and we liked Mansion better. We weren't price shopping, we were looking at quality of care first, and then they were cheaper than the others so it was the icing on the cake. We did serious looking at a lot of places, we're pleased with it. My mom says the food is good, she seems to be happy with it, and the staff is real friendly and seemed to be treating everybody really well. They're keeping it clean, it always looks clean, and I’m very pleased with the way it looks. The healthcare staff is real good; everybody is friendly, when I ask a question I have gotten an answer.

Iam satisfied with the accommodations provided to me at The Mansion at Waterford. Management does a pretty good job and the staff in the dining hall is always courteous. We get two optional entrees and we get a list of optional menus, but they try to substitute things if we get something we don't like, so I think they're excellent. I think our Activity Director is just terrific. She just works so hard, has so many ideas and really puts in the hours. I do some crafts, play Bingo and sometimes some other board games, but we also have lots of musical programs that come in. In terms of cleanliness, the housekeeping is pretty good and maintenance has done well. The healthcare staff does a pretty good job and I have noticed lately that they check-in on me at night, which I appreciate so it's been a good experience for me at the community.

I was very pleased with the affordability. They provided a good product and a good level of care for the price we paid. My sister says the food was good and they took good care of her. They took note of what she liked and what she didn't. Erica, in activities, seemed like she had things going on all the time. She even had outings planned for the ones in the memory care part. She worked hard to put things together. She had holiday parties and a lot of things going on. It was very clean every time we went into her room to visit. The building was beautiful and also very clean. The care department seemed to be on the ball and care for her. She got her medication on a timely basis. They didn't have much turnover like a lot of places. The nurse was responsive and helpful when I needed to talk about a medical question. Overall, we were pleased with the cleanliness and responsiveness of the people there, it was just a good move and experience for us.

I'm satisfied that my mother-in-law has been safe in the community for four years now. She is satisfied with the housekeeping and the maintenance team. Based on her comments the dining is okay. We like her apartment and overall the value is fair.

Since my mother has been there, housekeeping seems to be doing a good job and with the laundry as well. The building appears to be great and there are a ton of activities offered at the community for the residents to do.

When I go to visit my husband, I see people playing the piano and singing. It looks to be like they really are enjoying it. Any time I ask the staff to do something for me or my husband they are always helpful. He really likes the caregivers that he has. They seem to respect him and cater to his needs.

I saw it on Facebook, it looked great and was in a great location compared to where she was. I checked the menu on Facebook, you can just scroll down, and it sounded so great that I actually jumped in the car and drove over there. My daughter has been in assisted living and this was so much closer. I talked to Mary in marketing and she was so nice and said they had a room available, Mary was just great. I think they have a good chef and my daughter has enjoyed the activities they've done.

I am satisfied with all aspects of service that Mansion at Waterford offers my loved one. I am satisfied with the building maintenance. The management staff do a pretty good job.

My wife has lived here for a year and a half. I really like the apartment she is in. It is easy to maintain and has plenty of room. She really likes the food from the dining department as I am often told that she cleans her plate. They have a very good staff of med techs that work in memory care. They are very attentive to the residents. Overall I am very pleased. She is happy there.
