Mangrove Bay

I live at the community and I think my apartment is lovely. Management is very good. I think it is a very well-run place. Food is a very difficult thing for all of us. We are all used to different things, so it is not an easy task to keep people happy, but their soups are good and their salads are good I think they try very hard to be the best. The music they have, twice a week at night. The people they have are good. It is very well maintained and the transportation has been good, I use it all the time.

My mom has been able to make friends and she’s been able to be much more relaxed there since people take care of things. The management is very good. They're positive and if she has an issue, they get back to her very quickly. The dining service is excellent and the food is above average. She is very happy with the activities and she raves about the Activities Director. She is also very happy with the housekeeping and laundry. Maintenance is very responsive and get there quickly. Overall, it’s been a very positive move for her. It's definitely not inexpensive, but when you consider all the services you receive then the value for the price is there.

This place was by far the best, it's small but it's fine. I have recommended it. The housekeepers are very good. Every other week they clean my room and they do a good job. I think they have a pretty good variety of activities. I'm very happy with the way things are. I think Kathy does a fine job. It's a fine building, it's fairly new and it's safe.

I would recommend this place. The drivers that take you anywhere you want to go are good, I use it to go to the doctor or dentist. You can use it for anything you want. It's great, it's like a limousine. We have a hair dresser and a lady who fixes your nails. I just think the way they take care of me, they just do everything right. The people at the desk are good. The food is good. We're like one big family here. They have a wonderful gym here and the people are good. Happy hour is great; they have singers that come in. I think everything is wonderful.

It was recommended by Jupiter Rehab Medical Center where she was in rehab. It has everything she needs, is right there and is done professionally. Meghan has just been unbelievable with my mom, takes extra care and probably goes beyond the call of duty and she's happy to do that. I think she's doing well there and they're doing a good job with her. As far as what the caregivers are doing, I think they're doing really well. They come right away. She had a problem the other day and they had maintenance right up there and she was back in business right away... I find the staff to be very personable and friendly every time I come to the desk, not just robots sitting around, so I appreciated that.

Our case manager recommended this to us and told us it was a very nice place. It's beautiful there. The maintenance staff is very attentive. It smells nice and looks good. Housekeeping is great. I've seen the activities, they're very nice. They do have a lot of variety. I've gone down to the jewelry making and they're getting it together with the jewelry. There are a couple pianists that are there, it's very nice. It's a very nice apartment and everything is right here at your disposal. You're on the inter coastal where you can see the boats in the water, people jogging or walking, the swimming pool is right there and the doggie park. Each and every one of them is polite and they are attentive.

I love Mangrove Bay. I'm very glad I came here. The management staff is all terrific. I don't participate in the activities anymore, but I used to, and I think they're ideal.

My sister-in-law doesn't complain so I think she thinks it's worth it. The management staff was very, very helpful when she wanted to change the apartment she was in and figured all that out. She has picked up some old hobbies she hasn't done in years and she's thrilled it's rekindled her interest in things, that's very healthy for her. Anything that gets broken is fixed immediately so she's happy with that. Everything I hear has been good.

This facility is great when you have one parent in Memory Care and maybe another in Assisted Living. They are separate but still maintain some sort of life together. My mom loves the food. When she came into the facility, she was a horrible eater. I think the nutritional value of the food here ranks high. Dale, in transportation, does a great job. You just call up and schedule the trip. Peter, in maintenance, does a great job and comes quickly for any small repairs that I mention to him. Housekeeping gets on messes quickly. My mom's bed is always made; no debris on the floor. There is sensitivity about keeping things neat. My mom participates in several activities. She enjoys the music and exercises and the routine is solid and the diversity is there. She's the happiest she's ever been in her life.

The management staff been awesome, they have helped my mother-in-law with everything. They've been open when she comes to them. They helped her find a doctor and schedule transportation. They're really good. If she ever needs anything, in terms of care, she feels she can ask. She uses the transportation to go lots of places. It's always been available for her, and they make it really comfortable to ask when she needs it. That's been a big key to making her feel like she fits there. She loves the bus driver. He's very kind to her, looks after her. The housekeeping has been good; her room is kept up and nice. It's really good food, service is good, very kind and considerate. She's had a really positive experience there. She gets great care, and we never have to worry about her.
