Hickory Park

This community was the last one I looked at, and it was so nice. I just think the whole place is run wonderfully. There's activities, and they communicate well with one another. The communication is wonderful. The care givers there are really wonderful and responsive. She pushed her button and two girls came in three minutes. They're nice and very competent. They've been there a while, and they genuinely care. Maintenance is really good. When we asked for a few things, he came right away. They have entertainment and fun things to do. Susan and Noel are great at encouraging mom. The happy hour is wonderful, and she likes the music and musicians. When my mother first got there, the dining room servers tried hard to make her comfortable. The menu is nice, and there are lots of choices. All the food looks good. Management has been wonderful. Tthey keep in touch, and they couldn't be better. They are wonderful, and I am very lucky. Everything is working out really well. I think it's a great place. I tell everybody. I love her apartment. It's homey, and the value is great.

I think this community is being managed well and I think the caregivers are doing a fine job. My aunt seems to be happy with the meals and the housekeeping is good. The housekeepers do an efficient job and are very thoughtful.

My father and I are both very pleased with the facility. He likes the housekeeping, and he's never complained about maintenance or transportation services. They have really nice apartments, that is one of the reasons we chose it.

We chose the community for mother because it was clean, looked active and it's smaller, but not too small. The building is perfect and you can tell right when you're driving up that it is nice. Laundry is taken, washed and folded. She likes the dining and I thought the pig roast was really good. Management has been excellent. They call you all the time and I love the activity director. Overall, she is clean and fed, which are my two most important reason for putting her somewhere.

Management has been very responsive which we are happy about. My mom really likes most of the food, and she likes to participate in a few of the activities. Housekeeping has been coming in regularly and when I come over everything is clean. I am happy about that.

The staff here are very good; housekeeping and maintenance are very good. The van service is very good about taking people around and the driver is a good man.

Management was extremely friendly and warm and they had the answers when we had questions. My dad told me that the food was always very good and it was always warm. He was very happy with the variety of activities that they offered and his apartment was always clean. Maintenance was wonderful and the building was very clean and nice. It was fabulous and we loved this place.

Housekeeping does a good job and the building is nice. Transportation has worked out real well and my father likes the driver.

Management has been really great. My mother loves the servers in the dining room and the activities she does, she enjoys very much. She has nothing but praise for the housekeepers and the building is very well maintained. The caregivers are wonderful and super attentive to her. Anytime she has needed them to come in, they are pleasant, quick to respond and nice to deal with. I really think this is a great community and everybody who comes to visit her says how nice it is.

Management is excellent and very understanding. My brother is happy with the dining, they have a lot of good activities for everybody and the housekeeping is very good. The maintenance in the building is done very well and the care is pretty good. I think this is a really good place for my brother.
