Heritage Woods

My daughter chose this community for me because of the location. I am very safe and comfortable here and the price is fair. Management is great and the food is very good. The calendar of activities looks good. My housekeeper came yesterday for the first time and did a very good job cleaning. The building is maintained nicely and everybody here has been very nice. I haven't had any complaints so far.

I checked several places and this is the best one that I found. I don't have to do anything unless I want to and they have 24/7 security at this community. The director is doing very well. She is making good changes. They have different activities. They have bingo, card games and they go on bus trips. I think the activities are a great thing. I have a great housekeeper. She is really very detailed and wants to make sure that the resident is happy with her services. If you have any problems or suggestions, she will listen to you and do accordingly. I have a work order in for a shelf in my cabinet that broke down. The maintenance man said that in 48 hours it would be fixed or a part would be ordered to fix it. The grounds are wonderful and the driver at this community is very friendly and accommodating.

Just about every day there's something going on, and activity or entertainment. Housekeeping and maintenance are good, I ask and they respond. I'm satisfied with the transportation, and I'm satisfied with my apartment, I'm comfortable in it. I've lived here about a year and have always felt safe in that time.

We chose it because there are a lot of activities and good food, it's a quiet place. I do like it here, it's quiet, I sleep well, eat really good and I love the music. Housekeeping looks great and maintenance was helpful in purring in a new refrigerator for us.

Since the new Director came, she is amazing. She is the first manager I feel is really truly there for the residents, she's wonderful. I cannot say enough good things about here. It's a huge, huge, huge shift from before. The previous had been accommodating, but now she goes the extra mile. As far as I can tell housekeeping is fine, dad's apartment always seems clean to me. Maintenance has helped with a few things. I know the head of maintenance, he’s done a couple things for my dad, and he's wonderful. The whole maintenance team is all great. They have the activities calendar posted and the intercom is constantly announcing things going on, they're very consistent. The food is definitely better with the new chef, and the servers have always been wonderful. Dad's safe there, and has always been comfortable, but it has really improved.

I feel perfectly safe living here and it is comfortable here. The staff has been here for a long time and it is in a good location. I am very pleased with my room. The activities at this community are excellent. They work really hard to keep us busy. There are a lot of things to do. The housekeeping and laundry is fine. The maintenance men work hard and do a good job. The transportation is fine. The staff in that department are good people and they do their jobs well. The care couldn't be better in my area. I think this community is one of the best in this area. This community is less institutionalized and feels comfortable when you walk in.

I've been here not quite a year and the food is good and the activities are very good. Housekeeping is also good. No problems with that department, they come once a week. Any maintenance issues were taken care of promptly. I think the community looks good, and I'm happy with my apartment. I would recommend it, I think it's a fair price. If you compare it to what you'd pay for an apartment, there are so many other things they do. With all the services it's well worth it.

I am pleased with the transitions that are taking place here. Things are improving all the time. The activities are plentiful and the maintenance team takes care of your requests quickly. We have gotten together on what my expectations are and things are good. You couldn’t ask for a better driver than what we have in the transportation department. I am pleased with all the services that they are offering me.

I have been at Heritage Woods for 2 years and I feel like it's comparable to other places. We get to be with each other at the atrium and you aren't isolated here, so it's terrific when we have family nights. My daughter left me here because of the good things that I am enjoying here so I'd say I am satisfied with the accommodations and services provided to me. I have a good housekeeper, maintenance comes anytime you ask and transportation is very good. Our driver is so good, I call him Jesus because he takes us, picks you up andwhen you need him, you can get him so you couldn't find a nicer person. Overall, I love it here and what is so good is that if you see a friend who needs help, we just help each other. Personally, I feel like I cheer up people around here and that is my duty.

I am very pleased with the management and the food is really good. I do not go to the dining room much so the staff usually brings the food to me in my room. I am pleased with the way it is brought to me on time. Judy is great about putting my order in before I order it because she knows what I want. The activities and cleaning are really good. I had a problem with a toilet right after I moved in, but maintenance got it fixed real quick. The building looks good and transporation works real well.
