Harbour Senior Living of South Hills

Compared to the other facilities my mom has stayed in, the cost and the overall care, activities interaction, and just the environment is so much more pleasant that my mom started to refer to it as her home.

They have let my loved one be as independent as she can, which is wonderful. The care is excellent. I am very proactive so if anything goes awry I call and get results immediately. Maintenance is very good and on top of things, and housekeeping is fine. I feel the value's good. I would 100% recommend it.

I am satisfied with my father's accommodations. The healthcare staff do a wonderful job with him and they also provide haircuts at the community. The building is in very good shape and the landscaping looks nice. Management is always very open and very forthcoming on anything my father needs or with anything that has happened to him. Overall, I haven't been dissatisfied with the community. The people working there are great and they really care for the residents.

My mom and I appreciate everyone's hard work. All the caregivers are good and there are plenty of activities available. The food quality is great, and they have a nice variety of food on the menus. The management team has been doing well. They are very responsive to any concerns and helpful. The value is good and mom gets good care. We have a large amount of trust placed in staff. I have no concerns, I can rest easy at night.

I shopped around prior to my mom moving there and it is definitely a good value. I think the facility is so much more then what we could have ever hoped for. Her apartment is wonderful for her. It is bright and it is clean and it is a very nice size. The furniture fits nice in there. She is treated really, really well. They have spoiled her a little bit too much which is a wonderful thing.

My mom’s rooms are nice. The managers have always been good and quick to respond. She likes the breakfasts there and my mom loves going down to bingo. They send a calendar out every month so we always know what's going on. Every time I go over, everything is clean. The care givers are wonderful, they call me right away if something is wrong.

The manager is phenomenal. I have really enjoyed working with her and I really appreciate how quickly she got back to me and how thoroughly she answered my questions. She went above and beyond to help me organized things and get things done even though they weren't part of her job description. I think they did a really nice job of providing a variety of experiences there for the residents. My mother's room was always clean and so were the bathrooms. The grounds were kept beautifully. The flowers and the bushes were always maintained. They decorated outside the front door for the different seasons and holidays, everything was clean and tastefully done.

We chose it based on convenience to family, but also because a friend had her mother there and they liked the services. Everyone there is happy and accommodating, which is a plus, so we're very pleased and my mother seems happy. The 1st and 2nd floors are especially beautiful, and the Memory Care area is simple, functional and cozy. Overall, the management team seems fine, it's beautiful operation and the welcoming flowers were a very nice touch.

I chose this community for my mom because it's convenient to where I live and we liked the atmosphere. If I have any questions, management will take the time to answer them. Porche does a wonderful job with the activities. She keeps everyone entertained and is always up beat. The dining is fine, I've eaten there a few times and the food was fine. The servers are very pleasant and helpful. The building looks nice, beautiful flowers and the grass is always cut. Everyone seems friendly and helpful, we're happy.

My mother is doing so much better now, I really appreciate it. Recently there's been a new chef and he is making the food my mother loves. She is comfortable, she is safe, and we’re extremely satisfied with the value.
