Harbour Senior Living of South Hills

Kelly the manager is very personable and gets along with everybody. She didn't want to have the office that the regular manager had. She wanted to be closer to the staff and the residents. I thought that was nice. My cousins room always looks nice and clean. The care givers are wonderful. My cousin loves them because they are good to all of the residents. They really seem to care.

The management is very good. The housekeeping is nice and the laundry service is excellent. The condition of the building and the care the resident receives are excellent as well.

The management has been very nice and very informative. They have treated me well when I have interacted with them. My brother likes the food there. The servers are very nice. Someone is always around and they will help out if you need them. The housekeepers are wonderful and very good. I haven't had any problems with the laundry. He always has clean clothes to wear and clean sheets. The building is absolutely in good condition. The care givers are on top of things and are real nice.

The management staff was able to answer all of my questions and concerns I had when coming in. I think everything was good overall. They have a few activities offered each day, and it seems like she goes to at least one thing each day. The laundry and housekeeping always get everything back, and they do a nice job. It seems like everything is working like it is supposed to. I haven't seen anything be broken or stay not repaired. It seems like they are really good to the residents. I feel like I can trust that she will get the medications she needs, and everything taken care of. I've been really happy with everything. She seems to like everything well.

I am satisfied with the services and accommodations my mother receives at the community. I've had good feedback from the healthcare staff on the third floor, and they have been very helpful. The place is well organized, and occasionally, I see the maintenance engineers on call dealing with an emergency or regular maintenance. The apartment is generally kept very clean, and there is a nice variety on the dining menu that I know my mother enjoys. In the dining area, everything is kept clean and the food is served on time. If she isn't in the mood to go to dining, they bring it to her. The management staff is very responsive, good, and informative. Overall, she feels safe and comfortable at the community. My mom is with a quality organization that provides quality care and that is very professionally run.

My mom likes the food too much. I have had brunch there, and it was delicious. I think they have enough menu variety. I love the activities director. She is always trying to come up with different things. She works very hard. She is wonderful with them. I like that they have activities that work your brain, and they offer a multitude of things. Her laundry is done, and her room is cleaned every week. If there is a stain on the carpet, housekeeping cleans that. They change her sheets.The building and grounds are well maintained. Everything is clean and beautiful, and it always looks so pretty when you come up to the front door. The care is very good, and they look out for her. The caregivers are very good with her and check on her every couple of hours to see if she needs anything. I think the value is good for what they have available and all that they do for the residents. I feel like it is a very reasonable price for everything that they offer. I think this is a great place, and they always have things going on here.

Everything at the community was clean, which was something we appreciated very much. There are a lot of new places opening that have trouble with staffing, but this place has a lot of staff that have been there for a while, and it made a difference. They have employees who know the system and were always very kind to my mother. We used the front porch all the time when family members visited and both the rockers and the café inside were big hits. It was helpful to the family that she got her religious services in, and she also enjoyed their Happy Hour, so there was a good variety. They always had chocolate ice cream, something that mattered to her, and the concierge ladies were great. She was safe. She was very happy in her room and very comfortable in her space. The staff overall always made my mom and all of our family really feel that home, which is a rare find.

This community was chosen with the help of an elderly care specialist, and my mother has made the decision to stay there, so the value is good. The healthcare staff is very nice. They check blood pressure, and they check in on her. Transportation has been good. It's available when needed, and the vehicle is in good condition. Everything in the building is clean, and the place also doesn't smell, which is very nice. I have met the housekeeping staff, and they're very attentive. Every time I am in there, something with activities is going on, and the residents look like they're having a good time. She has a very nice corner room that looks over a little parklet. All in all, so far, so good. I have no complaints about anything.

The room always seems to be clean. Pat is a really good cleaner. She is always helpful when I am around. I've seen her interact, and she's very accommodating. I think Porsha is doing a great job with them. It seems like they are always busy. I think Kelly is especially terrific. Kelly and all the others there have been very nice.

Management is always available to me. They get my questions answered and they're very knowledgeable, so I am happy with them. The healthcare staff is knowledgeable about my mother's needs and laundry is handled very well. The community tries to provide activities for everyone, and she looks forward to the bingo twice a week. I would like to keep her there because it's a small community, which makes it more intimate. All in all, this community is probably the best she could have at this point in time, and I really appreciate it.
