The Groves, A Merrill Gardens Community

Management has been very friendly and good when I have had to deal with them. The dining service is pretty good, and I really like that they can go an eat any time here between 7am-7pm. They have a lot of activities. Maintenance is good about keeping up with things. The caregivers are coming in and giving my husband showers and helping him get dressed. He seems to be dressed better now and isn't wearing the same thing every week. The care is good. I picked this community because the staff was so friendly. They made me feel like I was at home, even though I don't live here. They are tremendous, and my husband is happy here.

A family that puts a loved one in there needs to go home and feel that their loved one is safe and being cared for, and I do get that feeling from the Groves. I appreciate everything everyone does there. The care staff is great. They're very good at making sure she has her medications. They take her blood pressure. The transportation service is great. They were on time. The driver was very energetic and very pleasant and helpful. The building is very well kept and very inviting. I have no complaints about the housekeeping. It don't see anything dirty or dusty or cluttered. They have all kinds of activities that appeal to a variety of levels. They're really good about being inclusive. The food appears to be really good. It's like going to a restaurant for my mom. I like that they have menu choices. My mom does not complain about the food, and I think the service is great. The management team is responsive and friendly. When I watch them interact with the other residents, they are patient and attentive. It's a very nice, friendly, inviting, and all inclusive community.

Management is extremely thorough and very friendly. They are great with follow up. Every time I talk to my dad he has to tell me what he ate and is so happy that he doesn't have to cook anymore. Their activities director is great… They have a wide variety of activities. They have something going on all the time and they have different things so they can pick and choose what they want to do. The maintenance staff is very kind. The place is in very good shape. This community is fantastic and just what he needed.

The place itself is very nice. It's very clean and very nice. I had to have a lightbulb replaced in my bathroom, and it was done right away. The building is fairly new, and it's well kept. The housekeeping is very good. They come in once a week and change my bed, vacuum, dust, and straighten up. They have a nice menu in the dining room. There's always something we can eat. I have no problems. I feel like I get my money's worth. I feel comfortable. It's not home, but it's next to best.

Everything that I have seen with the food is excellent, The variety is excellent as well. I think the activities are good. The residents are very engaged with the activities. The room is always clean and there are never any odors My wife seems to be very happy, which makes me very happy. The care givers are very caring. They always have a positive attitude and they are always helpful. I know they are doing the best they can.

The management is great. The food is great. The dining service is real quick and they have an excellent variety of food. The activities are pretty great, housekeeping does a great job, and maintenance is great. The building is in excellent shape.

Management is responsive, knowledgeable, friendly and caring. The food is fresh, very well prepared, and custom made. They have a nice variety of activities here. My mother in law's apartment is clean, her bedding is clean and the building is excellent. The price here is competitive to the market.

The management team has been very good to me. I think it's great. I'm very happy with her there. I feel very comfortable leaving my aunt with them. I don't feel like I have to run over there and check. I know she's being treated well. The dining servers treat her very well and know exactly what she eats in the morning and the afternoon.

I think they are very nice people. They are very kind and understanding. As for the food, I find the food was perfect and tasted delicious. The variety was good and they had many different choices. The cleaning ladies are very nice and they do an excellent job. They will do the sheets and towels and you have to do your personal laundry. I think that is very nice.

I am perfectly satisfied here. The transportation works out great, and the new Activities Director has improved the activities a lot. They keep the community in good shape and clean every day. Housekeeping is very good. Everyone is doing their job, the value is okay, I can’t complain at all.
