The Forum at Memorial Woods

They are doing a good job keeping my husband safe. It is a 24 hour job. I think the price is very fair. I have shopped around and I think it is fair. I love the fact they had a very detailed questionnaire to get to know my husband before he moved there. They went into such detail to get to know him. He wasn't just a number. The food is good and I think they have enough activities. I am pleased with the housekeeping and care services as well; they are good at keeping him clean and showered.

It is a convenient location and the staff seems to be strong. All of our interactions with the staff has been very positive. The management is doing well with communication. To my knowledge there are enough activities. Anytime I have gone in the afternoon I have seen people engaging in the activities. From what I have seen the maintenance of the building is very good. I am very satisfied with the care. I was with him one time and he got up out of his wheelchair and the nurse was right there watching him. Overall, the price is good and my fater-in-law is safe there.

I chose The Forum at Memorial Woods for my father because it was close to the hospital he has used for 50+ years. So far, I am satisfied with price, services and accommodations that are provided to him; I think he feels safe and comfortable at the community. I have been very satisfied with the management staff so far, they have made me feel very welcome and I know that they're trying. During dining, the food is what he expected, they offer a good variety in the menu and the service is satisfactory. I don't know how often housekeeping comes in, but his room is kept clean and maintenance in general is super-fast. Overall, it's been a good experience so far and I would very much so recommend it to others.

I moved in because my family recommended it and so far management is very professional and caring; the operation runs smoothly. They do an outstanding job, not just professionally, but personally, so I recommend this place beyond just the business aspects. I just think it's a wonderful place and they should be commended.

My son and daughter-in-law had looked at several communities, but I liked The Forum at Memorial Woods the best for my husband and I because I had more room than any of the others that I looked at and I also had the option of getting a washer and dryer, which is nice. Any time I have had a problem with anything, management is right there to fix it, which is wonderful. Regarding the dining experience, so far the food has been very good and we're enjoying it. There is a good menu variety offered and the dining service is really good. Housekeeping comes once a week and she is here for about an hour, so she has been fine. Maintenance wise, the building looks very good, so overall everything has been great at the community.

My mother moved into this community because of the location and the reputation. We did not realize how unsafe she felt before moving here and she now feels very safe. That is a very big plus for us. Management's attention to her and her needs are good. There are plenty of activities offered at this community and the housekeeping is perfect. The building is excellent and the care here is excellent. The fact that she is happy and safe means everything to us and thus far it has been a wonderful experience.

We needed Memory Care; my wife will need it in the future, so we moved in. Management is able to answer all the questions I've raised and respond to our needs, both in our apartment as well as helping used get acclimated to the community. Our first apartment cleaning this past Friday was excellent. Our housekeeper changes our sheets and they wash our linens, and they get it very clean down there. There are many activities offered. Some of the residents have been here for 10 years, and they are very welcoming. The quality of food is good and the menu variation is good. The mainstay servers, the group there most of the time is excellent. They have valet service available, and it's very Johnny-on-the-spot. It's very handy. I think the value is there, I tell everybody it's a great place to be.

My son just bought a home close by, just a few minutes away. I moved to The Forum to be closer to my family because he helps me out a lot. My apartment is very nice. Housekeeping is good, no complaints there. I did have maintenance take the shutters off when I moved in, and they were very fast with that. The management team has been great, really great, and the food in the dining room is fine. I used the transportation twice, I took the car to the grocery store and the driver was very friendly. In my little experience I'd say The Forum is excellent, it's great.

"Right now we are happy. She feels safe and I feel safe for her. Mom has told me she has been happy with the activities. She isn't a real joiner and I was astonished that she went and painted a pot because she hasn't been know to be a crafty person. She really likes when someone comes to play music and sing. In terms of maintenance, as far as I can tell things are working well. Carmen, one of the aides, is very sweet. She is just a very warm person. I am happy right now with where she is.

My mother moved into this community because it was very well positioned to my home and the response by the sales personelle was head and shoulders above the other communities I contacted. The people who man the door are fantastic. They have already figured out who I am and who my mom is. They know we go together. If I drive up, they will go get her and get her into the car. Mom seems pleased with the food. She has commented a few times that the food is good. I helped her call down one night to get take out. The folks who answered the phone were nice and helpful. They had it ready when we went down to pick it up. The manager helped find a good place for mom to sit. Generally speaking the activities seem great. There is always something going on. Her apartment looks clean and housekeeping shows up when they say they will. They wash her sheets and towels for her. Maintenance has been spectacular. My husband messed something up when he was trying to hang something for her. Maintenance came and fixed it. They did a good job getting the unit ready for her. I tell all my friends about this place.
