The Forum at Memorial Woods

When we chose The Forum we thought it looked like a hotel. The grounds are beautiful here. The management staff call us with even the smallest thing. Mom bumped her knee and just had a little red mark, not even a bruise and they called us. I like that kind of attention.We enjoy talking her out for walks in them. The maintenance and housekeeping staff do a good job of keeping the place nice and clean. The care staff are very welcoming and always willing to assist in any way they can.

I chose this community becuase the people were friendly and helpful, the facility was very nice, it's an excellent facility. The dining service is excellent and I see a lot of people participating in the activities and they seem to be happy. Maintenance has done everyhing we've asked so far and they're friendly people, we're quite happy with the outside and around the facility. Overall, it's not cheap, but it is good.

My mom was already living in a Forum and we had a good experience there, so we moved her in. They post a big calendar page of activities on the floor, and I think my mom really likes when they go out to lunch one a week. That's really nice for her to get out. Maintenance had to install her television when she moved in, and that worked out really well. Housekeeping and transportation on the bus there have been fine. The caregivers have all been very kind. I appreciate when they call me if they have a concern or a question. They're terrific people. I like that they wear nametags. So far, everything's been good.

My wife just moved into The Forum at Memorial Woods and I'd say the value is competitive. Her room is very nice and adequate, so we're satisfied with the accommodations that she is provided. Management is accessible and nothing is wrong maintenance wise that I have observed, so I am happy with the consistency of services. As far as medical administration, the healthcare staff seems to be doing an adequate job there too, they're all very nice so all in all it's been a good experience thus far.

I'm happy with it; I'm very content with it. I think the value is there and the cost is definitely in line with the services. The healthcare staff really makes an effort to get to know my dad and our family's preferences. They speak to him in a very kind way and interact with a lot of kindness with him. His room is always clean when I go; they keep it immaculate and do a really nice job. The housekeepers have been super accommodating with us. Everything that I've requested or had questions about management has answered and been very proactive. I think they're doing a good job. They spent more than a month helping me get to the point of where I needed to be and gave me such an option for my dad, they were stellar.
