Evergreen Retirement Community

I am satisfied with the overall price. Evergreen was my parents' choice and my choice. The people are nice, the accommodations are fine, and the food is good. The building is in good condition. Jim does a good job keeping the crew working. They are always respectful and courteous. I would recommend it over anything else.

In the very beginning there were a couple of issues which maintenance came in right away to fix. The service in both dining halls and the bistro is excellent. I've worked with Sharon Cranston; I'd give her a perfect score. She was absolutely wonderful. She was very informative, very knowledgeable, and very patient with our questions. I also worked with Mercedes. She helped set up everything, schedule the appointments, addressed his medical issues. Helped us get hooked up with Medicare. I was very, very pleased with all of that. My father-in-law is safe and comfortable so we are pleased.

I think my in-laws are getting a lot for what they pay. We've eaten there with them and the food is amazing! They've gained weight, they love it. They have so many people to serve, and so many options, yet I think the service is done quickly. They have gone to bingo, done movies. They've gone to Happy Hour once in a while. I know they've done other things; they really seem to enjoy the activities. The grounds are gorgeous, the facility looks real nice. I have no complaints.

I have looked around in the market, and we like it here and feel like it's the best deal available. The activities and entertainment have been terrific. We get the CCM people and some really good talent. We have a pretty good variety and I think we are fortunate to have the talent with CCM. I think they do a good job on the omelets, and the breakfast in general is pretty good. Mike is in charge of the maintenance and I like him. I think they try, and they do have a long list of things to do, but he has been pretty prompt every time I have called. This is the only retirement community with the scenery around: we have the woods in the back and all the acreage. I think the housing is really nice. I really like the cottage.

I think it's a good value for the services my aunt gets. The food has been great when I have been there. They seem to have plenty to do. They have enough variety if she wants to take advantage of it. Maintenance is great. They seem to be on top of it for the most part and have done an excellent job. Everything has been pretty smooth.

I think it is a fair value for everything my mom is getting. I think whoever hires the general staff, the cleaning lady and the nurses’ aides, they do a very good job. I get a copy of the patient evaluation and they give her a shower and check on her, from their aspect, they're doing what they're expected to do. The caretaker staff takes care of issues within a day.

The nursing staff has been fantastic and they're very responsive and I think they do a fantastic job. The management staff is very friendly and respectful, not perfect but good. The food is good; good menu, it’s nice how it changes and everything. Overall I love the facility and the staff and everybody is friendly and helpful. It feels like home.

I would definitely recommend Evergreen, in fact, I have! The food is one of the things my father likes best about the facility. He is not participating much in the activities, but what I've seen and what I've been to with him seem excellent. There seems to be enough care staff to serve him. Housekeeping is pretty good. Nobody is perfect, but I think the managers are pretty good as well. I think it's a good place to live.

I think this facility is good. I am super pleased with my apartment, and I am getting my value here. The maintenance staff is terrific, anything you need and they're there. The caretakers check on me, and everything I need from them I can get, no problem. If you need it, they're there. It's terrific, great entertainment, and plenty of activities. This is one of the better facilities.

The housekeepers do a good job for what they can get to. My parents really like the food. Not that they take advantage of the activities, but I've read the booklet and I know it's good. I really like the place. It's gorgeous. It's beautiful.
