Evergreen Retirement Community

I feel that it is a good value for what we get. There are things that need a little work on but for the most part she is pretty happy. My mom has contacted the management staff about things and they have always responded. The building seems to be well kept. She is very busy and she is always doing something. They always have groups come in for entertainment. She never complains about the food.

I don't have much to compare it to, because this is my first experience managing that. I think it's about what I would expect. The people have been wonderful. They do a fabulous job trying to provide wonderful activities. My mother says very positive things about the caregivers. She says they're very kind and nice. Her apartment always looks wonderful. She doesn't always take advantage of everything there, but everything I see there are wonderful. I would say at Evergreen, there's a nice class of entertainment that the residents seem to really love.

My wife and I have been at the community for about two years now. Management seems to be alright. We never seem to have any issues with anyone. The food and the dining is excellent. I think the servers are great people. Whenever we have had any issues that needed fixing someone comes and gets it done. I have used the vehicle once to pick up groceries, and that was fine too. We don't really have any complaints and are hoping to get a two bedroom space soon.
