Evergreen Retirement Community

I really have not participated in any activities but they do have a lot of things available if you do want to participate. I'd say the food is good, we have a good variety. If something is happening and you need some help, somebody comes right away the same day. It's a good value here.

They seem to be generally interested in my mom, they take good care of her, she likes them and everything seems to be pretty much ok. So far the maintenance crew has done a really nice job of fixing whatever needed to be fixed in a timely, professional and workman like manner. I think housekeeping does a really good job. I'm very pleased.

I recently moved in and I love that they serve your meals to you, the food is delicious, and then they clean up. You don’t have to do anything but eat. Everything is wonderful. I had an injury coming in so they don’t want me running around too much. The activities seem wonderful, there's lots to do. Once I'm up and around I will participate in everything. When housekeeping cleans they're very neat and meticulous. The caregivers are very concerned if I have a problem. I find no fault with this place.

The management runs the community very well. The food is very fresh, varied, and tasty. The housekeepers are excellent too. They're very nice. Everything is clean, I never see debris or trash around because things are picked up. I've heard the activities are good. I don’t participate in any, I'm homebound. The calendar shows they have excellent things. I did join the choir, which I enjoy.

It's wonderful; we take the bus to Kroger. The bus driver is very kind and always on time. He drops us off and picks us up at the door. Everything is beautiful at the community. There are quite a lot of activities and I think they are okay. I like going to Kroger. The management of the community is marvelous. The value is good too.

The aides are really friendly and funny. My mother doesn't have one assigned to her specifically, but she talks to all of them and they are just really friendly to her. The security department too is really good with my mom too. She will raise heck with them and they are just really good with her in response. I feel really good about the value. It's a good place, it's safe, secure, and the people are good and really watch out for her. They offer a lot of them and I know my mother enjoys it.

When I moved in the management did their job very well for me. Things went as planned. There's plenty to do for everybody. I can't say much in regards to entertainment, but from what I hear people seem to like it. There are a lot of bus trips you can take that sound very intriguing. I use the transportation to go over to Kroger and that is a very good experience. The van itself is in good condition. The grounds overall are beautiful. I have been pleased so far.

I feel the value is good, but I don't have much to compare it to. It seems safe; she has a nice place to stay. My mom's meals are taken care of, so she's not losing any weight or anything. She is pretty content with the variety of the menu. As long as she gets her Salmon once a week she's happy. Well-care comes out to make sure she's taken her medicine, which seems to go fine. So it's just good.

I think overall it's really well-rounded. The facilities, the quality of care, the attention from the staff, it's definitely a good place for my dad. He has no complaints about the food, so I think its fine. I've seen the board there, the Activities Coordinator sends out an email every month with the things available. I think they're varied, and there's much to choose from. My dad is a loner and prefers to stay in his room with his cat. There are a lot of things he could take advantage of, even though he doesn’t. The building and his room are always in good condition when I visit. It makes him happy, and that makes me happy.

We're pleased with most things, and there's very little that needs to be done. Several people have come there because I recommended it. My mom's clean, safe, and socially comfortable. Things are pleasant, clean, and the food is good. The rooms are nice, the hallways look very homey.
