Crescendo Senior Living

We chose Crescendo of Placentia because it was smaller and I really like the layout. His apartment space is great and the one bedroom feels like he is actually in an apartment, so we're so glad we opted that. The experience that I've had with management is that they follow up with any question you have and they're Johnny on the spot. In terms of services, the dining staff is great, he likes the singers that play songs form his era and the healthcare staff are all very friendly. So far, we're pleased with our experience.

My brother has been there just about a year and when I picked him up today he told me he loved it here. Everyone has been very helpful and respectful to us. From the offerings on social calender to the willingness of the chef to prepare whatever he wants to eat, they make my brother very happy. He loves to be outside and he even gets to help out with some of the gardening around the building.

Management answers all our questions easily, keep is informed, and keep things super simple. My mom is happy with the food. There's tons of things to do there. Maintenance was a huge help and got her TV set up. The care staff comes quickly when she pushes the button. They're super friendly, and actually want to help her. It's been great so far.

Since moving my mom in the management team is very good, they're on top of things. She likes the food. They have a good variety and if there is something she wants that's not on the menu, they get it for her. My mom doesn’t do much. They have plenty of activities so if she wants to she can go do it. The times I'm there I see them going on. The housekeepers come and clean her room, and they do an excellent job. The building is very well maintained. The care is very good. They do give her her pills twice a day. Whenever we have any questions, they're right there to answer them. Everything is good. It's a wonderful place.

Management is doing fine. They're very approachable and I have no problems with them. We have a lot of entertainment here too, which I like. Housekeeping is always on time, and very thorough. The bus is in good condition, it's fairly new. The caregivers are on top of things. They deliver medication on time. I like it here.

Every time I ever had to deal with management over the last year they've taken care of issues and responded to me very nicely. I think they're very active and they get everybody involved in activities as much as they can. My mother’s room is always clean and kept up well. The caregivers have been extremely good. They let me know right away if something happens. We talk frequently when I am there and they're very professional. I have already recommended it, got a friend's husband in, and I would recommend it to anybody.

When we were there for lunch, there was a Zumba class and I thought the people were having a grand ole time. The laundry seems to go just fine. I love the flowers out front in particular and she loves to be able to see out and see the cars drive by. Part of what we're paying for, is our peace of mind in that there are people paying attention to how my mother-in-law is doing. I think it has been great so far.

They're knowledgeable and respectful from the management down. I love that place for my mom, I hope she can stay there for many years. From what I see on the menu, it seems like they offer a nice variety of things. Once in a while they have a brunch for the families so based on that, I'm happy with the food. The servers are excellent, I can't say enough about them. Crescendo is one of the nicer places. The minute I walked in and was taken around to see the amenities, I was very impressed.

I think the price is as fair as it can be. Carla in management is doing a great job. I think there is a good variety of activities offered but my mom has been participating less due to her condition. I think the caretakers do a good job. I really haven't had any complaints.
