Crescendo Senior Living

We chose this community for my mother because it has been recently remodeled, it was not too big of a place, the price was extremely competitive and it was close to our home. My mother appears to be safe and comfortable at this community and the price is extremely fair. Management does a very good job. Everyone is first class at this community. They have been very supportive since she moved in. My mom eats all her meals and doesn’t' complain about the food so I assume it is good. We are very pleased with the activities. They keep the residents busy constantly. The staff keeps the residents active and do not let them wander off. My mother always has clean clothes on. Everything was ready when she moved in. The maintenance staff was out there ready to help us move in the furniture. Tony, the lead maintenance guy, did the few things I wanted done when she moved in. Everything has been very prompt. The building looks good inside and out. The caretakers are doing a good job.

I am very impressed with the facility. I would recommend it to anybody. I would go there myself. I think Wendy and the executive director are very kind and invited us for lunch. I was very impressed with management. They are very good and I was very impressed with how they presented themselves. Any time I have a question or a concern the management staff are always kind enough to reach out and communicate with you. I visit a lot and I see how the staff performs. They are all wonderful to all those people. I am very pleased with the food. All of the staff performs very well. Every time I go there, there are so many activities for them whether it be exercise or music or them reading a story. The lady that organizes the activities gets a ten plus in my opinion. It is a very clean facility. It reminds me of a hotel over there. The facility and the garden area where they all sit and enjoy the sun and read books is very clean. The staff that I see they go above and beyond their call of duty.

The person I'm most involved with is the Executive Director, think she's readily available, I see her frequently. I know she makes herself available to residents and their family members and I think being accessible is really important. She's at all the events and there on weekends when they do the brunches, I think she works hard and is always there, even when there aren't things going on she's straightening things up or goes to the dining room and talks with people, she's highly visible and I think that's a good thing. The business office is very professional and takes care of things. We requested an accordion door for the bathroom for my mom and they made that happen immediately. They cleaned the carpet when they noticed a stain so maintenance seems readily available and helpful. They have a wonderful gardener, he was out there all summer even in the heat or would work later in the evening, the grounds of the facility are beautifully maintained. There are some exceptional people there, my mom has a caregiver named Olga and she is an angel. I'm very happy with the caregivers for both my mom and dad, they seem to know them and their preferences very well and are patient.

I'm really happy with all of my mom's caretakers and I'm very happy with the whole memory care set up. Management is always available, they have a good energy, I have no complaints at all with management. There are more than enough activities and they provide a lot of entertainment for the residents. They keep the residents moving all day long from one little thing to the next and they do their best to keep the residents interested and active. Maintenance has been very helpful and I'm very satisfied with the care services.

I'm pleased with the community. My brother and I looked at 8 different ones, and I'm very happy we picked Crescendo for my mom last year. The caregivers are very nice, and they're Johnny-on-the-spot. They're very kind, and the lady who takes care of everybody, she is the best. We were having health issues with my mom, and she told us about the insurance where doctors come into the community. There's Warren, the Nurse-Practitioner, and we are so pleased. Thank God she got us on the insurance. My brother and I have hired a podiatrist through Crescendo and a dentist. This insurance was a lifesaver for us, a godsend. Every time I've called and had an issue, management has been right on top of it. They give me great answers and alternatives. I can honestly say they're really strong at helping me. I usually go visit during lunch so I do see the food. My mother eats it all. By the time we put my mom in there we'd been concerned mom wasn't eating at home. My mother looks really great and every time I'm sitting there she eats everything. That tells me she likes the food and it looks very appetizing when I'm there. My mother participates in all of the activities, she loves it. One time I went, they were having entertainment. She dumped me at the door and rushed off to attend it. Carlos in maintenance does whatever you request right away, and he's very nice. We do get our value. It did go up but my brother worked with them, and we're happy. Mom's getting good care, that's our only concern. They are taking really good care of my mom. I already have recommended it, everything is good with my mom. She looks younger than when she went in.

I chose the Crescendo for my mom so I could visit frequently. I will say we are satisfied with moms housing. She has a single unit to herself which is nice. I have been very happy with the food and the care that she has received here. They have a lot of activities to particpate in and the management is always easy to talk to with any questions.

My step-mother moved into this community because it was referred to us. We felt like this community was very reasonable and were very impressed with Wendy, the director. She explained everything in full detail and was very accommodating. She showed us around the place and we were really impressed. Any questions we had were answered and she went above and beyond to make sure that my step-mother got some things that she needed to move in there. The food is pretty good. My step-mother says she really loves it. There are enough activities at this communtiy for my step-mother. There was something that she was interested in doing that this communtiy did not offer but the staff said they would look into it. The housekeeping has been okay. Louis is great from maintenance. He is so good. He offered to hook up her tv and had to fix her sliding door. The building looks very good on the inside.

I think the management is great. Carla is the Director, she is so involved and makes sure once a month they have a family get together buffet so the families can come in and she always makes sure it's decorated nicely for holidays. She's the one that organizes and makes sure everything goes the way it goes and she does a beautiful job at it. Housekeeping does an excellent job, it's beautiful, they keep it very clean. The gardening and maintenance outside looks beautiful, the inside courtyard always has new flowers and the inside is very well kept as well, it always looks pretty.

So far, everything has been fine for my mother at the community. The management staff is always there and visible, they interact with residents, and the healthcare staff has been perfect, they're all really nice.She hasn't had any complaints about maintenenace or housekeeping. I'd say we are completely satisfied.

I have a friend there that is a resident so I was familiar with the place, I liked the location and the place itself so when I checked to see if they had respite and they did, I was excited and it just went from there. It provided what we were looking for and Wendy and Carla made us feel really confident that they would take care of anything. The food was excellent, my mother was happy with all of it and she was offered all of activities. She did listen to some music, they came and got her and they thought she would enjoy that and she did. The healthcare staff were very helpful and they made sure she was very comfortable and that kind of thing.
