Castle Pointe at Baywinde

My husband and I love this place and we're so happy we made the move. We're very happy with the food and the management team is wonderful. They do everything they can to help you. Cindy does a great job with the activities and the girl that does our housekeeping and laundry is very good and very courteous. The biggest help for me is that they wash the sheets and towels. My apartment is always clean and neat. I gave up my car in November and I haven't had any remorse because transportation takes us all over and are very courteous and accommodating. We couldn't say enough good things about this community.

I have lived at Castle Point at Baywinde for over two years. There are a lot of activities going on and there is a lot for anyone to be involved in. My apartment was cleaned today and everything looks fine. Maintenance does a good job and keep the building looking well. I would recommend this community to others if they asked.

I has been a pleasure working with the management at Castle Pointe concerning my loved one. Any time we have had a question, all we had to do was ask and they cleared it up very quickly. He has loved the food here. He has a gluten free diet and I have double checked with the chef and dining staff and they are doing their best at keeping up with that. It is really hard to find a place that will adhere to that. The activities department provides tons of things to do. Housekeeping and maintenance have been great and have been right on top of anything we need. It is an excellent community. No one is perfect, but the staff have been phenomenal.

We checked Castle Pointe a year ago and they liked it then but weren't ready to move. When my dad needed some assistance we thought it was a good time to go there. I liked Laurie the Assistant Manager there and the agreement was pretty easy to understand. The dining is really good, they open the doors on time, there are several choices, and the soups and breakfast are good. The activities are excellent, there are so many things, the calendar is full, there's a lot of opportunity to do things. It's excellent, they're right on top of everything. I'd definitely recommend it to anybody.

The office people are very, very nice. I have no complaints. They're pleasant, friendly, and very nice. They've always been good about explaining things to me and so forth. Mike, in maintenance, is excellent, you couldn't get a better fella to work. He's pleasant, efficient, and he knows what he's doing. Everybody loves him because he's a good, hard worker.

I get along with the mangement staff very well. The servers are very good in the dining room. I enjoy the activities. They have music on Thursdays and bingo and I go to those things. The transpportation here has been good. They take us grocery shopping on Mondays and to our appointments. I have had no problems so I cannot complain.

Managment took the time to go over everything with my mom and really feel they bent over backwards to accommodate and please her. My mother hasn't eaten so well and she is tickled pink with the choices. I believe his name is Chris in maintenance and he is just the kindest man. He has offered suggestions that have just been fantastic and he put up her pictures, setup her TV and got her curtains up. She just used transportation today for the first time and she had blood work done. It went smooth as silk and she just loved the driver, she said she had no problem at all and she couldn't speak more highly of the driver, so she has been pleased. The staff is so kind and easy to work with, so she is delighted to be here and it feels like home for her. I would 100% recommend it, I'd even move in myself.

My parents lived at the community for three years before having to move out due to increased care. They always liked the lady who did the cleaning and were pleased with her. The outside of the building looked wonderful. They were very pleased with the transportation and I never heard a single complaint. It was a good fit for them for the last three years.

My mother lived at the community for about a year and while she was there we didn’t have any major issues. The dining services were good and they had plenty of activities. We had no issues with maintenance or housekeeping either. My mother would often take the transportation to church, which was good. Although they have areas of improvement, I'd recommend the community.

I think the staff team is just wonderful; they are very good and aware of the needs of the population. The accommodations are also wonderful, it's very appropriate for what my mom needs. I think the activities are great. It's perfect for my mom and we just love it.
