The Breakers at Edgewater Beach

It seems to be very well run. The various services are good, and there are a lot of activities. The staff at the front desk is very polite and helpful. The quality of food is good. The activities are very good, we have a nice variety. I think the community looks pretty good overall.

When you consider there is the swimming pool, deck and garden, the game room and the theater and the fact they change movies every day, I would say the value is just fine. There are lots of activities. I think it's fine inside and outside, there are always people vacuuming and cleaning, they stay on top of that. I've enjoyed it here.

It's been a really good experience for my mother, I'm happy with everything that's there and the activities there are great. They're keeping her busy throughout the day. When she's had issues, maintenance has come right away. She's doing a lot there and getting involved and I think it's really good for her mental and physical health. The food is good and my mom seems to enjoy it. I think they mix it up pretty well and they do meet with the residents. When I first went there, I met with Scott and he was just super welcoming and introduced me to other people. It works out really well for her.

Everyone who works there is super nice and patient. I love everybody who works there. They do a great job. I am very happy with the staff. If the food was better, I would say it is a prefect value. The staff is just so nice and so attentive, and, really, that's the most important thing to me. Management is very responsive any time you have a problem, an issue, or a question. They have a great maintenance team. The guys are great. They are attentive and polite and they do a good job. We've had a really great experience with them. Everything seems to be kept up well, I see the maintenance crew running around all the time. They have a lot of stuff. My dad's been going to the happy hour and he loves trivia and they have that every week, so he's been going to that. There are always a ton of things going on, ten to fifteen things a day. It's an impressive building, there's a pool in the building. They have a wide range of activities, there's a movie lounge. He likes to go and sit and read the paper, he's really enjoying the facility. They have great dining. I've had a very positive experience. The Breakers has treated us really great and I'm really happy we chose it.

We chose it for location. I also love the dining room, it’s so airy. Being close to the lake was important as well. I had also received recommendations from others. Maintenance has managed to be wonderful. They are always getting people to me as fast as they can. The management team is very helpful. They are always willing to go the extra mile.

The people themselves are excellent and I have no issues with them. They were always very responsive. My mother liked the food. They had a really good amount of things to do. They did a good job. The maintenance staff was great and attentive to her. Overall, the building was well cared for. Transportation worked well. I cannot say enough about the front desk staff. They have been amazing throughout the years. They were always the first to reach out to me when she wasn't feeling well or with other issues.

Most of my friends and family are South Siders so I would probably recommend a place closer in proximity. I think the staff has been very courteous and cooperative. I think the community has good activities. My sister can sign up for group activities as well. My experiences have been nothing but very positive. I've had nothing but good interactions with her and the rest of the staff. Whenever she has needed things attended to, it's been done in a timely fashion. I have been pleased.

The maintenance has been excellent. The food is good. I've already recommended it to people and have been satisfied with most of the departments.

I'm still fitting into the life here and I'm glad I'm here. It was the right decision and the right move at the right time. I think the price is fair for the services. The apartment is spacious and I get two meals a day. It's well worth the investment I made here. Scott Tyler was very helpful and kept me informed. He was a good resource for me. It's been a good experience. It's a lovely dining room and the food's been good. It's certainly better than my own cooking. There are plenty of options to choose from on the menu. They had a great jazz program, which I like. It's just a good place to be.
