Bella Terra

My mom has now been at Bella Terra for almost six years and I think the people there have been incredible to work with. I love Frank, he's been there a long time. I think they really try their best to give the residents a good dining experience. A lot of times I have dinner with my dad just to see how things are going. He loves it. He's very happy. The drivers are dynamite! They always make sure my dad gets on the bus safely.Whenever I come I look around, everything looks clean. If anything is ever wrong in the apartment, the maintenance man comes right away. I've been really happy with Bella Terra. I think they do a good job.

Everybody I have encountered over at Bella Terra has been very cordial and it appears everybody does their job that I see. I would recommend Bella Terra. All the nurses I've seen and met are all wonderful, the Meridian nurses and the nurses aides, they're all wonderful ladies. I see them often enough and they are friendly, they help my mom out. They've been doing whatever is needed. Maintenance has been very good coming in when I've needed them for a couple of things. I haven't had any noteable concerns about the housekeeping, they come and tidy up my mom's room. I think it's a good place for her.

We moved into the community because I am wheelchair bound and I wanted to make sure that my husband had assistance if needed. The best part about the dining is the coffee, which is great. A lot of times the food is great. The servers are generally nice. They have a lot of activities available. The people in charge are terrific. I love puzzles and I have someone from activities who is helping me put one together. I really like that. Maintenance is amazing. We just moved apartments so they came in and helped us hang pictures and they powerwashed our balcony. Overall, we are very happy here.

I think it is fair, I looked around. I think it's a lot of money, but the cost for independent living is quite high so I would say Bella Terra is fair. The just go new management, so I haven't had much interaction with them, but they seem fine. My mom doesn't seem to have any issues with the housekeeping and it always looks fine when I'm there. She uses the transportation to go to the super market. My mom has said that the gentleman that does the driving is extremely helpful. I think that's a wonderful option that Bella Terra offers transportation for those folks to go and do their own shopping, and the vehicles are fine. All the services they provide are great.

There's plenty to do there and my father does some things, but he's a little more on the loner side. The place is clean, his sheets and pillow cases are picked up, and there is a once a year major cleaning of the apartment. There is a shuttle bus that takes residents to and from supermarkets, doctors’ appointments within certain mileage, and department stores. That service is going very well. He has different windows than other parts of the building so they couldn't handle window air conditioners, but between him and the maintenance department they came up with an air conditioning unit that fit in the window. Everything else is good.

My parents haven’t said anything bad about management, so I think everything is okay. The housekeepers do a really good job. Their cleaning lady really rocks, she does a great job. The building itself is good, the room is in fine condition, they haven’t had to call for maintenance. My dad has taken the bus twice and hasn't had any issues. I would recommend the community. I think it's nice and clean, and the people at the front desk are really nice.

Management is good at what they do. I called once for a light bulb and 15 minutes later, maintenance was fixing it. The place itself looks really nice and it's usually consistently clean. My mother uses transportation for outings and it's been working out well. I know the drivers and they're wonderful. The healthcare staff is skilled. From maintenance and housekeeping, they do a wonderful job and the staff that is there are really caring people.

For the most part, everything is good. My mother doesn’t complain about the food, so I guess it's okay. The nurses have been really great. We haven't had any notable concerns in terms of maintenance of her apartment. I believe it has been going well. She's been there for almost six years and it's been fine.

I have been very satisfied so far. My father's very happy with the bingo and stuff and I know they're coming up with this Embrace program. The dining service is very good and they do a good job at keeping up with his room. I think the management team is very on top of things and always willing to help.

I have a wonderful apartment. It feels like I am in my house. The quality of food has gone up recently. They have loads of activities here. They keep the calendar very full. The housekeepers are very good. They clean my apartment consistently. The maintenance team answers the calls right away. Those who know me tell me how beautiful this community is and that makes me happy.
