Bella Terra

I contacted management recently about moving my dad to assisted living and they were really helpful. My dad has been happy with the food. Housekeeping comes once a week to clean and do his linens. When we have needed maintenance, they have been right there. He has an aide who comes to his apartment twice a day to give him his medicine. That is good.

My father is very pleased with the cooperation he gets from management. If he goes in with a problem or a suggestion they are very agreeable to get him what he needs. For the most part, I know the dining department does the best they can with varying the menu and providing food that is nourishing. There seems to be a lot going on in activities. There is bingo and movies every day and when they have the floral arrangements, ceramics and jewelry making he likes that. He enjoys the exercise classes every day. I think the activities are good.

Management is fine, I don't have any problems and when I need to talk to Donna, she's pretty much available at all times. My Aunt's room is clean and I have no faults with the housekeeping. The laundry seems to go and come pretty well. EShe says the food is fine and she eats fine.

I deal with the director of my mom's unit and she is pretty receptive. She listens and answers questions. She doesn’t complain about the food. It generally seems to be ok. The activities staff try to keep my mom active. They have a lot of different stuff going on. I think the maintenance is fine. When things have broken they have fixed them. When there are issues they are pretty quick to get things fixed. The nurses there have been very, very good.

For us, the value is fabulous. It's a pretty place and it's very clean. In regards to the management, I know most of them and they are very friendly. If I have a problem it is taken care of quickly. They are always very nice and they are nice to my mom. Dining is great. The activities are great. They are always doing something. Housekeeping is good too. It is always clean and the room is done up right. They always make the bed. Overall, it is great.

Any time I had a question, management was very helpful. I deal with Pat McDermott in sales and Paula has been very helpful. I think the nursing is very good. As long as my mother feels secure there, that's all I care about.

My dad got there a year ago and when he got there he loved his apartment. Any time I've called the management, they call back. The caregivers are great. They give him his medicine, they're very nice, and they make him laugh. Never had a problem. Any time I have a concern they right away put in order for the doctor to see dad. Housekeeping is excellent, and anything I've ever had a problem with maintenance has been there immediately. I think the value is good, I'm very happy with Bella Terra.

My mother is really happy and has become a part of the Bella Terra group. Management asked my mom to be an ambassador to new people coming in. My mom has spoken with the chef and expressed her gratitude for the meals and how happy she is. My mother goes on the trips and they take her to the doctor's appointments, she also went to the church service and really enjoyed it. My mother has made friends and is really enjoying herself; this is the life I've hoped for her.

From the very beginning the staff knows who you are. They are very responsive and make you feel like it is your home and where you belong. I think the value is very good. Her apartment is very good fit for her. The living space and kitchen space are very nice. At first she wasn't thrilled with where she was sitting in the dining room and they, right away, moved her to a different table. She is very happy with the food and with the different foods they serve. She also likes that she doesn't have to cook it herself. She seems to be very busy and involved with activities. My mom seems very pleased with the person who comes in to clean and tidy up and takes care of the laundry. Everything seems well cared for. They are very responsive and take care of things that need be.

My mother loves everybody. She walks up to the front desk to get her mail and everybody is always friendly and everybody says hi. She hasn't really had any problems with anything. My mother always loves the housekeeper. She always loves whoever comes in and they always do a nice job. I think they are there on Wednesdays and she has never mentioned that she has to wait. She asked the maintenance man to come and check the vent on her wall and they were there instantly and tacked it back to the wall. I think everything is always nice and clean. My mother is as happy as a clam and she really enjoys everybody and that is the most important thing.
