Great communication!

Review for State Street Assisted Living

Housekeeping does a good job and the healthcare staff always notifies us if there are any issues, all the people there are pretty good about that, they call us right away. Maintenance has done a good job and fixed a few issues. Although communication could be a little better, I am overall satisfied.

Staff went above and beyond!

Review for State Street Assisted Living

I looked around at other places and really liked what they offered here. The staff did a physical at my brother’s house before my mom moved in. They went above and beyond. Management's follow up was really good and they walked me through everything. The food was pretty good and the servers told me when my mother wasn't eating as much. They always did her laundry once a week and they took care of her room. Maintenance came right away and took care of things. If there were issues, the staff kept it to themselves. They were very discreet. I couldn't have put her in a better place.

My sister loves the food.

Review for State Street Assisted Living

I chose this community for my sister because she's been losing her memory and we called A Place For Mom and they gave us a couple of recommendations, State Street was one of them. My sister loves the food. She wasn't cooking for herself so she can't wait until the next meal. Chris from maintenance was very good and quick to respond. The building is very nice and as far as I know the care has been just fine.

Very happy and satisfied!

Review for State Street Assisted Living

It is hard to put a monetary price on care for a family member but we have been very satisfied at this community. The management team helped us a lot just to get our brother placed because there were a lot of difficulties with his insurance. He didn't have a physician and they helped us find one for him. I think the food is very good. The staff really tries to help the residents choose what to eat. They will check with him in his room to see if he wants to go down to eat. If he doesn’t they will bring him a tray. They have so many nice menus. The food looks really good. This community has so many activities and housekeeping does a good job. There was a problem with the heat but maintenance took care of that. It is a really beautiful place and they maintain it very well. The caregivers are doing a wonderful job. We have been very happy and satisfied at this community.

Review for State Street Assisted Living

I chose to my mother into this community because we liked the facility and heard some very nice things about it from other people. Management is taking good care of my mom's needs. I'm very happy with the care that my mother receives and the care staff seems to take care of my mother very well and they're learning her needs very well.

Staff is on top of things!

Review for State Street Assisted Living

The care staff is very good here. They are on top of things and are very communicative with me which is nice. The menu variety and food quality are okay from the dining room. We are satisfied with the services we receive from housekeeping and maintenance. The activities are good too.

Activities are the best!

Review for State Street Assisted Living

Mom was in another community for two or so years. I have a caregiver that came in at their request; she told me how things were going downhill. I looked for somewhere else and State Street was suggested. The activities are better than what I've seen before, there's a lot of interaction both among the residents and between the staff and the Memory Care residents. I think maintenance is very good. One of things mom and I do are walk around the community and it's always very clean, there is always somebody cleaning and working, it's well taken care of. We've been pleasantly surprised with what I've seen. The place looks clean and she's well taken care of.

Convenient location and reasonable cost!

Review for State Street Assisted Living

My mother was living with my sister, but she was moving, so my mother had to move as well. State Street Senior Living was in a convenient location, the cost was reasonable, we liked the atmosphere and we've been satisfied with the community so far. There was some sticker shock when we first started, but the community has been very good to my mother. She loves the dining hall, the outside is nicely kept, the landscaping is clean, the inside is always clean and things are always vacuumed. Housekeeping comes during the evenings to collect trash and we haven't noticed a buildup of dust or anything like that. Housekeeping also has been doing her personal laundry with no issues, so we're satisfied with the services provided. Overall, it's been a good fit and they locked us in at the lowest price, saying it'd never change, so it was nice they were willing to do that.

A welcoming community!

Review for State Street Assisted Living

We looked at a lot of places before choosing this one and my family members that visited my mom loved it. My mother did not want to move out of our house. The lady we first met with, made my mom feel so welcomed that half an hour later, we had the papers signed. I wish I remembered her name because she was awesome. The food was delicious and it was not expensive for guests to eat there. My mom had things to do and every time we would see here she was socializing. The caregivers were great. I loved this community. Everybody was awesome.

It's worth the money!

Review for State Street Assisted Living

State Street is expensive but it is worth it. When I visit the food all looks good and it looks like they have good meals there. I would think for where she is the activities staff is doing the best they can. Whether she participates or not is another thing. From what I read there is a good amount offered. The overall building has a good look. The aides that I am in contact with are very good with mother.
