Symphony at Mentor

I would like to commend them all for doing with the lockdown situation. Tracy and the regular nursing staff are great at keeping me up to date on my Mom’s needs. They have been keeping me in the loop with what I ask them do, and I appreciate it because they're busy. The care staff are always willing to listen if there is a concern. I appreciate that during this time the activities staff is coordinating window visits and the maintenance staff is already out planting flowers for spring. I would recommend this community to others.

My father is well cared for at the community and the things we aren't able to do, they're providing. He always has good, healthy meals with a lot of variety and the service staff is attentive to needs. The maintenance staff do a good job and the building is very nice. His room is always clean and smells good. For activities, he has an exercise opportunity, different places they take the residents and seated volleyball with a beachball, which is perfect. All in all, he feels safe, comfortable and the staff is receptive.

My dad feels safe and comfortable, and he is taken care of well at the community. The nurses are wonderful and the healthcare staff calls me. They keep everything up maintenance wise, and if something is broken, the man will fix it right away. The building is welcoming, laundry services don't mix Dad's clothes up, and it's done on time. Dad does most of their well planned activities, and they keep him busy. He loves the food. The management is super, and when I have an issue, they fix it right away. Overall, he loves it there ,and I think the place is great. No other place would the maintenance man come in and talk to an old man about tractors once a week. That is above and beyond, and I just really appreciate all that they do for dad.

The management has been very supportive. Everything seems to be on the up and up in terms of what they are doing there. The building is very well taken care of. I have asked questions or have had concerns, and the care givers are immediately on top of it. They are very aware of things and very concerned. They are always asking and offering any assistance. Having parents with some health issues, they have been more then accomodating, and they have reached out to other family members that are also involved with my parents. They will ask if they can do anything for us.

The management keeps me informed on what is going on. I think the care is pretty good. I would say the maintenance is good, and the activities are fine.

The nursing staff gets along very well with my mother. She likes everybody. The nurses are fantastic, and the caregivers are exception. The transportation services have worked out really well. Larry, the mainteance man, also does a good job. As soon as there is something that is brought up, he's right there and does it. They do a lot of activities to keep the residents active. The dining is going quite well, and the servers are very good. The management is also working out well. I think they've been very receptive to the concerns we've had. They've been very responsive. They are on the spot and involved in great detail.

I like how they do the dining. The food looks good and the servers are very nice and very attentive to all of the residents. Management seems nice and there is nothing falling apart at the community. She always has clean towels, clothes and a clean bed. They have different activities for people who are at different levels and they include her in opportunities. Overall, she can't tell me things, but she seems happy and I feel confident that she is taken care of. They bring whatever it is to my attention and vice versa. If I bring something to their attention, they're on it. I didn't have that before, so I always recommend the community to others.

The management did an excellent job. I can't say enough good things about them.They outshined all of the facilities. From the management down, everything they said was truthful and functional. You don't get anything bad out of them. From the get-go, everything was managed very well. Everything they said they were going to do they did. The care givers were excellent. The night staff and day staff always called you by name.

They are doing work that nobody else could do. They do it with a smile and it appears they really love and care about the residents. She feels safe there and I can go in at anytime of day. It seems like a very good place for my mother.

The nurses are great, the people in the front of the house are great, and Dad likes it there. Everything is super there, I have no problems. According to me dad, hey cook food that tastes like food.
