Symphony at Delray Beach

The management is very nice and helpful. The food is pretty good and the maintenance staff are always helpful. The head maintenance person is terrific. The care staff is very good as well.

I am happy when I visit my mother in Symphony at Delray Beach because everyone is wonderful. Management has been respectful, accessible and responsive, so they're engaging with residents. The food is good, and the staff in the dining room is all wonderful and attentive. I am only at the community when there are some activities going on, but they do share a schedule that my mom always has and they also have TV screens that display what is going on. I am also not there when the housekeeping actually comes in and I don't know how much of it is attributed to the place being brand new, but it is sparkling clean. Regarding maintenance, my mom had problems with the temperature in the room being too hot or too cold, but the maintenance department was really attentive. My mom's care has been satisfactory; the healthcare staff is all respectful, accessible and responsive to her needs. Overall, the people working there don't know what else they could do for you, so my mother has been really happy with the community.

Every time I have visited my mom the room is spotless, the bathroom is always clean and the place is kept immaculate. The rooms are very well thought out and space isn't an issue. I know mom is very happy with Geno in maintenance. She really likes him and says anytime she has an issue he takes care of it. I think the dining room food has been pretty good for the facility. I know my mom likes it and they have been willing to listen and alter the menu and that has been a big help. I think the activities are well planned and the staff understands who they are working with. The fact that transportation has a wheelchair lift is a big advantage. Everybody has been attentive and compassionate. Everything seems to be running smoothly. I have never had a problem getting a hold of management and getting my questions answered.

We're happy that mom is at Symphony at Delray Beach. There is some incredible staff there because we were discouraged with not knowing stuff, but they helped us through it. The food is excellent, the staff is excellent and the cook is excellent in the dining experience. They offer a lot of great activities and the building is beautiful, so the consistency of service at the community has been satisfactory. Their Memory Coordinator for the Memory unit is the greatest asset at the building. This woman goes above and beyond for all the Memory Care residents. She and the caregivers make sure that every resident is taken care of all the time and she is the type of person you want to have there. Overall, it's been a satisfying experience for my mother so far at the community. It's pretty exceptional that no one knew I put my mom outside and within 10 minutes they located us, so that means within 5 minutes they knew and started looking, which is incredible.

Since my mother moved in two months ago the food and the activites are excellent. I do think they have a variety of activities. I do believe they have the bus that can take them off premises. As far as housekeeping; I haven't heard any issues from my mom.

My mom and step-dad moved in a couple months ago, so far, it's been pretty good. He's in Assisted Living, and mom's in Memory Care. The Memory Care is good, it's all working out nicely. I think the value is good, and the managers have been very receptive to answering all of my issues. Maintenance is keeping the community up nicely. The food is very good. If I had a complaint about the dining, it would be the portion sizes are too large, but that's not really a complaint, I guess. They offer plenty of activities, and housekeeping is doing the laundry. It's great, I don’t have any issues with that. I think everything is wonderful, I'm very happy. Denise is wonderful with the activities in the Memory Care portion. And they have Happy Hour, which my mom and step-dad seem to enjoy. So far, so good!
