Sunflower Gardens

I moved my mom into this community over 5 1/2 years ago and I'm a happy camper with my decision. I know everyone in management, I know how they work and what they do and they're pretty much on top of everything. The nursing staff is always helpful. I think they're doing a real good job with my mom. The grounds are just spotless and there is constantly someone wiping tables and disinfecting. The activities are very good and I'm thrilled with the program. The music is good, they have movies, all kinds of activities and mind games. They're on top of their game.

The community seems to be very patient orientated and they have people that work well with their clients. My mother likes the food and is at every meal. The servers seem to meet the needs of everyone there. They had a luau recently and a bbq. They seem to work really hard to make those things happen. I have seen a big increase in the programs that they offer the residents. There are more interactions with the bingo, the parachute, the singing and the story telling. The care takers and the aides are always polite and work well with my mother. They seem to be very attentive to my mothers needs. They get her up and get her involved. We hear from other families that Sunflower Gardens is so much better then other facilities that they have been at and I think that starts with the management.
