The Sheridan at Creve Coeur

Care is expensive; I think their rates are fairly competitive with the other rates in St. Louis. I think that they do a good of encouraging the residents to get involved so that they aren't just staring at the TV all day. I think management does a good job of keeping me informed of what is going on and they do a good job of staying in communication with the family of the resident. I am very happy with the facility.

We visited the Sheridan and we really liked it a lot and everyone worked with us really well. I think we've been pretty happy with everything that's been going on. It sounds like there are always things for the residents to do here so it's been great. Steve is the Executive Director there; he's been absolutely fantastic to work with. He's been nothing but in contact with us all the time. It further confirms our decision to move my mother there, we've been really happy with that.

Every question I have is answered and the management team always has time for me. The food is delicious. They cater to my father. He doesn't always get down there when meals are served, but they always feed him. They always give him a choice even though he can't remember that he has a choice. They have a lot of stuff going on. It is always very clean when I go in and it always smells good when I go in. Everything is beautiful. They really try to keep an eye on him and do what he needs. I cannot complain.

All the places were expensive but compared to others in the area, I think it's a good value. It's only a year old, so everything is pretty new and seems to be well-maintained. The housekeeping seems to be very good. I think they're doing a real good job keeping the room clean. I think there are a lot of good activities. The food is excellent, it's very good. The management staff has responded to any of my inquiries or concerns. They're real friendly. My husband's only been there a month but so far we've been happy with the choice.

We are very satisfied. They have a lot of activities for my husband and that has made him happier. Sometimes they have excursions on the bus and get him out. They have a patio and he can walk outside. Maintenance keeps everything spotless. There are no odors, it’s always clean. It is so clean; it's a good feeling when you walk in there. It's just amazing; it surprises me they can take care of things so quickly, and all the time. Housekeeping and laundry have been good. They're definitely keeping up with things. I'm sure they're doing the laundry as quickly as they can. The nurses, Med Techs, and aides are doing a really good job. They're really kind to patients. They're just really good. They have a good number of caregivers there, enough so everybody will get help when they need it. I know the costs are high everywhere, we're comfortable with this price.

The caregivers all are very responsive and very caring. I love the way that the rest of the staff pitches in with activities, even down to the maintenance team. It's really lovely. Everybody is really pleasant and helpful. My mother tells me that the food is good.

I think the management staff really cares. I think they're very, very smart. Their model for doing this is very intelligent--the location, the number of staff, it's very well organized. They have a private chef, they have different areas you can sit in in the dining room, and it's all inclusive. I think it's very, very well thought out from the top-down. The healthcare staff is on top of everything. The nurse manager is always accessible. They all go above and beyond. They know my mom by name. The service is excellent. I think it's a very special place and I hope that it will continue to serve us well.

I do like the all-inclusive, that's the main reason we moved there. Stability in pricing is really important; the last place he was at kept upping it. My dad seems to be pretty happy with it; it's a nice and bright facility so I like that. I think they have a lot of things to do and it seems to be clean every time I go.
