The Pointe at Cedar Park

Everyone is smiling, polite, friendly, and helpful. I really enjoy going there to visit Tony because the staff is just always super friend and makes me feel welcome to walk in the doors. I know if there's anything that I need, all I have to do is say it, and it will be done. There are always people sticking their head in his room and looking to see if everything is okay. I think he's getting the care that he deserves. The maintenance man is great. The times that we've been there, the things that he does are great. Everything is always in order. The activities director is phenomenal. She's on her feet singing to people, talking to people, and reading to people. I know there are lots of good activities. That is just great. The management team is always eager to help. I have seen several different folks in there going above and beyond what their duties actually are. Everyone is doing the best they can do. I don't think it could be any better.

They have been very helpful. They have answered my questions responded to text messages very quickly. Even after the move in, she has been making sure things are good to go. My mom really likes the food there. I don't see any problems with the building. Everything in the facility looks up to par. Everybody has been very helpful, and she likes it. They are doing a fantastic job. I don't have any qualms with anybody there. They have been very nice and very helpful. They make her feel at home, and that is what we were looking for. We found it.

The management team is very good. Wendy does a good job of managing it. She is on top of everything. I've eaten there a couple times myself, and it is good food. They do a good job with housekeeping and maintenance. The care staff really seem to care. They are very responsive. There is a variety of activities. I feel it is a good value. We are pleased. Wendy runs a good ship, and I am impressed.

The staff smile at each other and I don't see a bunch of disgruntled people. My aunt is a former pathologist and says the healthcare is fabulous, they make every effort. I think the housekeeper does a good job, I love her, and it doesn't smell like an elderly place. She adores the activity director, who is a doll, and there is a full calendar with a wide range of activities available. The dining staff is very responsive to the fact that she loves tea, so they make sure she always has it. The executive director is fabulous, and the whole team has been attentive. Overall, I am comfortable with her at the community.

The activities are really good. There's always something going on. The healthcare services are it's good, and they know her really well. The community always looks really good to me. It's clean.

When we take him out he tells us he has to get back because of what they are having. It always smells good if I come in around mealtime. He is always busy in activities. Always exercising, painting, playing bingo, helping to water flowers. There is always something going on. The care staff have all been really nice to him.

The management is always there if I have a question. I like the fact that they are the same caregivers all the time. I like that he is getting more of a friendship with them. I love that it is family owned. It is more of a home then a hospital room type situation.

The management has always done what they said they were going to do. My parents love the food and they talk about it nonstop. There are plenty of activities for them to enjoy and I have no complaints about the housekeeping, maintenance, or transportation service.

I have nothing but good things to say about the Pointe, I'm very pleased. It's clean and welcoming, the grounds are very well kept. I know there are newer places that are more expensive but I feel that the size of the Pointe is part of my value, it's small enough that they know my family, not by a room number, they know them and their personalities. They're familiar with the people and the people who come there. This group of people work together well and that shows. The food is wonderful, well seasoned and they have choices, she is thrilled that she has a choice. They offer so many activities, there's something for everyone. They make the residents feel like they have a voice and not just participate in the activities but having a part in making them happen, making them feel valued and that's important.

The food has always been great. Mom is always busy. She was calling me twice a day before she moved in and now I have to call her. She is extremely busy all the time and they are going everywhere. They go shopping all the time and out for lunch. She is on the lowest level but the people that she talks to and deals with daily she really loves.
