Parkside Manor

In the three years my mom has been there I think they do a good job with the dining and their chef is awesome, he's been there forever. He's great, his food is awesome, so I feel that the dining area and the staff do take care of their residents. I think the activities are good. My mom used to never participate in the activities and now she does, I see her in the group way more than what she ever has done, I've been happy with my mom there.

Management at Parkside Manor seems to have everything under control in that my mother's room is always nice, she is always clean and seems to have enough attention given to her. Every time my sister and I come by to visit, everything is where it belongs and every time I have asked to speak to management, I always speak to them the same day I am there. The food seems to be very good and when we go there, the menu seems to be varied, so she gets to feed herself when she is able to on top of giving her foods that she is able to chew. I am satisfied with the care she received at the community, the staff is all friendly, knowledgeable and they go up to people sitting by themselves to see if they need anything, so they're respectful and trained for what the residents need.

They do a good job at Parkside; there's no issues with management. Mom's place is always clean and her clothes are always clean. Food quality is generally pretty good, and maintenance is also good. The building is very functional; things are in good repair. The caregivers seem to be very conscientious, they're on top of things, and they call me if there's any issue, right away. Overall, I think the value is okay.

I think it is a fair price, some are more expensive and some are cheaper, it's right in the middle. My mom likes the food. I have been there for the meals and the people seem to like the food and the service is friendly. They do have options. Everything seems to be fairly maintained. The vehicle looks like is in good working order and it is reasonably sized and comfortable. The people that I have spoken with including the nurses and the care givers seem to be very pleasant and very friendly.

She's so much more relaxed and everyone tells me she is happy. I toured ten to fifteen places so I know all the different prices ranges and I think it's a good value. The way my mother looks and her demeanor is like night and day. It makes me feel so good. The people are so friendly. When I'm there visiting, they're definitely doing activities that the residents seem to be enjoying. She loves dining. Good quality, good variety. It's been wonderful. I love the people that work at Parkside Manor. Once a month they have a lunch where they study a different country and the chef makes really good meals and stuff. I've been pleasantly happy with everything.

The caretakers are on a schedule, so they come in whenever they are scheduled to come in. My father uses the transportation; in fact he used them today to go to the doctor. It is going fine they are always on time. His room is never not clean, everything like the lights are always working. Nothing is ever in disrepair. The only thing we ever asked for was for the cable wire to be installed which they got to immediately. My father is very active with those activities, he seems to like them. They seem to have different activities dependent on day of the week or time of year. They change them up. If I ever have a problem, management has been great. I'm pretty happy with the value, couldn't be happier. The price seems to be the same as other places, but service wise this community is worth more money I think.

I have never had any problems with anyone there. The management staff is always friendly and answers my questions. They always have a variety of different things for them to eat. The building is great. The maintenance department was very helpful moving my mom from one room to another. I would very highly recommend it.

I loved the apartment. That was my favorite part. I think the administrative staff was pretty professional with us. I think they did a good job and were totally respectful. He really liked the activities. There was a lot of stuff going on there, and they take them out for things. That was really cool. I loved the facility, and Rodney did a good job with maintenance. It was a good place for him to be for the given time, we were sad to leave. They did really well.

I believe the value of the services and the experience including the environment is on par with other places. All my interactions with management have been very pleasant. They're efficient, responsive and proactive. They have people of varying degrees and stages, so they do a good job providing a wide array of activities. Housekeeping is pretty good. My mom's door was overextending so I suggested a solution and it was fixed next week so I think they're pretty on top of things. The staff is all really nice and they get to know the residents so they treat them nicely.

My mother feels safe and comfortable there. She calls it her home. They take care of her and make sure her needs are met. She loves the staff there. The food is good. They include her in activities. The facility looks very nice. It looks like a nice hotel. They take excellent care of her and make sure she has her meds, so everything is good.
