Parkrose Gardens of Fairfield

The care and nursing are managing my mother very well. She can be difficult to deal with. They are very accessible and responsive when I am there. When I go there everything is clean in her apartment. Housekeeping is great. The community provides many activities for the residents, so my mother is not in her room all day. The management has been good. In her short stay there it seems everything has been running smoothly.

The staff is always caring and they are always upbeat. Immediately when we moved her in, they knew my name and my sister's name. Every time we go to the front desk, they call us by name. Every time we go walking down the hall, they greet her and are very pleasant. The Executive Director, Esmerelda, is always available, very knowledgeable about the residents who are there, and is very willing to help with whatever we need. She listens to us and answers our concerns. The med staff is really good about checking in on her and taking care of her. They are very attentive and anytime I call up there, they are willing to talk to me about anything I need. On Valentine's Day they served steak and mashed potatoes. Of course everything was cut into small pieces, but I was amazed that it was delicious. It was tender, juicy, and very flavorful. The Thanksgiving lunch they had was a great big buffet with everything you could think of. She does get invlolved in the dancing when they have that on. Trina is the Activities Director there and she is really good about texting me videos of what she is doing so it's good that they keep in touch. Housekeping does a really good job. They come in and get her clothes. I am always finding fresh clean clothes in her closet. The place is very clean. Maintenance does a really good job of keeping the place up and repairing things when something is going on. In the past couple months, they have added motion sensor lights in each of the rooms. It is a nice soft light in the corner of the bedroom. I really like that for safety. It's very reasonable, especially for the San Francisco bay area. She gets a lot of care for what we are paying.

I have been very impressed with management. Anytime there is an issue or a health concern they call us. When I visit, everything in the building seems to be in working order and the caregivers are always smiling and friendly. They seem like a good group of people. The price is fair. They are attending to his needs around the clock and someone is always there if something comes up. It is hard to put a price tag on that. I have asked if he likes it here and he says yes. He is very content. He doesn't even want to get out to go for a car ride. He feels very secure here.

From what I've seen in the past three and a half years, the activities and activities director here are phenomenal. When I walk in here, there is always something going on. The calendar is awesome. The events that they have two, three or four times a month are pretty awesome. The housekeeping is okay. When I go there, the bed is made and it looks clean. The healthcare she gets from the physicians and aides is great.

We checked a lot of places out and the cost of this community is very reasonable. The healthcare staff is communicating with me well and providing her with great care. The maintenance staff were helpful with moving furniture in, and they seem to keep the building up very well. The housekeeping girls are always very willing to do whatever, and the bathroom is always kept very clean. The activity director has been able to get her dancing, which we were really amazed at. She was only there a couple weeks before she was dancing, and they were able to video it. Management is very knowledgeable with what they're doing and they have beencooperative and easy to deal with. Overall, we're satisfied with the services and accommodations.

The care staff are really good and they come right away if my mom calls them. They've been helpful every time that I have spoken with them and I think she gets good care.

The care staff are friendly and attentive. The management team is friendly and welcoming and they always listen to my concerns. They pay attention. I feel comfortable with the people working there.

The healthcare staff is hands on and I am impressed with the management team. Overall, I think the value is very fair for the services she is receiving and we fixed up her room just like it would be her own home, so I am happy with the community. I really don't think they will find better, loving or caring staff.

The healthcare staff is very conscientious and management is quite responsive. There is a consertive effort around the community and repairs are done in a timely fashion. I have all of the respect in the world for them in sorting things out as well as the room being clean all the time.

The apartment is working out well for my mother and the price for services is great. If we point something out, the healthcare staff will go and look after it. They have lots of activities and any time I go, there is something different going on. Service during dining is always really good and management is always available to us. All in all, my mother feels safe and comfortable, so they do a great job there.
