Park Place Senior Living at WingHaven

I've recommended the community to a few others, two of whom have already moved in. They have monthly meetings with the management staff, so I feel that residents are able to bring up topics of interest. The housekeeping and maintenance departments have been very helpful. All in all the staff is good and so are the services.

When I go there it kind of feels like family. They're very nice people. Gary is the maintenance guy and we love Gary. He always seems to be available, helpful, and cheerful. I think safety and security is good there. If you come in the evening you need a code, that's good. My mother was just in rehab she was there she kept saying it wasn’t the same; she was ready to come back. That's what I like about the people in that place. Seems like the try to take care of everything there.

I've done some shopping around and I think the value is very good. I think they're in a very competitive market. It’s right where it needs to be. My sister's room is well-kept and they do a great job in housekeeping. They're very gracious about doing laundry. I think the caretakers are all very good. I have not run across one person who does not do a good job, care about the people there, and keep them involved with activities.

I'm really pleased, the cost is right in the middle of the area. If it goes up a little every year, that's not a problem. The room is beautiful. Not only is management helpful, they make themselves so reachable. That's important. I can always reach them on the phone, and they're always polite. I never feel like I'm bothering them. I think the dining is awesome. I used to take care of her and I know how hard it is to present meals to her every day. And she has choices. I haven’t seen anything wrong with the housekeeping. It's great. The building looks great too.

It's expensive but I guess it's reasonable compared to the marketplace. I think everyone is really good in the dining room. My mom thinks the activities are good. Despite minor concerns, I would recommend the community.

The caregivers and activities are wonderful, that's what matters. Melissa is wonderful; she is amazing with all of the activities. Gary and Russ are awesome in the maintenance department. They have a bus that takes them out to lunch and stuff that has always been good. Everyone else is amazing - respectful, knowledgeable, accessible, and responsive.
