Meadow Gardens of Menlo Park

I think it is probably the best value out there. The management team there now has been there for a while and I couldn't ask for a better team. If I need to ask questions or to talk they are always there. I am a health consious person and I wanted my loved one on not only what they were serving but exact specialized things and I was met with 100% cooperation on that. The person in charge of housekeeping is just like the other caregivers. Her love for me, my loved ones is just wonderful. I couldn't imagine that place being any cleaner that it is. The care staff are totally like family. If anything comes up they contact me immediately.

We really are so grateful and appreciative that we found this commmunity and that they make such efforts to accomodate my mom. Overall they give excellent care. It's a beautiful, clean, light, bright facility. The price is reasonable compared to others we looked at. Every meal I've seen there has looked incredible. They have fresh ingredients, varied menu and well balanced meal. The staff is very helpful. They do a lot of really cool stuff. People come in and sing or bring animals. They do great with her medications. We had a three month assessment with management two weeks ago. We connected them with a couple of resources we had used and offered to be references for anyone who was thinking about bringing their parents there.

I have been to a lot of places, and this is a very special community. The healthcare staff is so caring and compassionate, and they have consistent caregivers there that know the residents. They also don't have empathy fatigue, which I really appreciate. If something is broken, the maintenance staff is great and it gets fixed. It's the cleanest place I have been in. Everything is usually picked up, and there are no terrrible smells. The activities are very good with people coming in who are dedicated, solid, and have a lot of integrity. There is always something happening, so it's been pretty stimulating. My dad has been happy with the dining, and if you ask for something, they'll accommodate. Management is responsive, do whatever, and they always follow through with what they say. Overall, it's a fair market for the location, quality, and accommodations. I haven't found a better place in the Bay area.

Management keeps me informed on what is going on, and they seem to listen to my concerns if I voice any. I really haven't had any concerns because I feel the care here is above reproach. The care staff is so caring, and they really engage him as much as they can. He always seems to be showered and shaved. The staff is wonderfu and is able to calm him down. My dad seems to be happy with the food. I think they try and really keep the residents engaged with the activities, and he enjoys the dancing when they have that. The housekeeping is fine. His clothes are always clean and neat when I go there, and his room is always neat, clean, and organized. I love the patios here. They seem very well maintained and the grounds are nice. This is a wonderful community.

The management staff have been resourceful, they listen and they help or try to help come up with a resolution. It seems like every time we visit especially on weekends the staff is engaging with her and she seems to be thriving. They have music, TV, puzzles and all that.
