Kingston Bay Senior Living

I think for what she is getting the value is very fair. Mom has mentioned many times that she likes living there. I think the management does well. I don't really have any complaints. They adore my mom. They just got a director for the memory care side and she is wonderful. She is very personable and I've seen her doing activities. They keep on her laundry and the cleaning is fine. The maintenance has helped move her room back and forth. We love the facility. It is very nice. On Tuesdays and Thursdays she has physical therapy and I meet her there. They will take her up and sign her in if I'm not there yet. It works out well.

I am super happy with everything at Kingston Bay Senior Living and everyone feels my aunt is safe there, so I am satisfied with the price and services she receives. If there are any issues with her care, the staff calls me and they have been attentive towards her other needs as well. Management is always helpful and always has a smile on their faces, so it seems like they all really want to be there. Also, there has never been a time I couldn't get a hold of them either, so that is satisfactory. The food is always really good and the portions are appropriate for the people staying there. They provide activities at the community for residents, laundry is done appropriately and occasionally when there is spill once in a while, housekeeping is always immediately there. I see no issues in or out of the community regarding maintenance and mom's room is fine in that it's always maintained, so overall it's been a great experience for her at the community.

I chose this community because my dad wanted to go there so we moved him there. It's a very nice facility. The activities are appropriate. My dad is younger and I think they do an excellent job keeping everyone busy and taking them places and going on outings. They take the residents out twice a week and they take him to his appointments. Transportation has been more than accommodating with my dad. Maintenance has gone above and beyond for my dad. For what my dad is paying and what he's getting you can't get anywhere else in a facility like that. I always tell people about this place, it's such a great place for my father to be.

This community was chosen for my mom because it was recommended to me from an in home care person for respite care. The value is very good. I am pleased with that and I am very happy with what is going on so far. This community is almost overly safe. If I want to get in there at 7:30 am or after 9 pm, it is difficult to get in. Someone has to come let me in. I am sure nothing is going to happen in that place because it is so safe. Management has been personable and they have been very helpful in trying to navigate where my mom is at. My mom has been very pleased with the dining and I have been very pleased with the activities. From what I have seen they look very good. Her room is very clean and the building and grounds are very nice. The caregivers are very respectful. My mom told me to sign her up for another month because she likes it here. It started off as a respite care but it is heading towards being permanent. I had only signed her up for two weeks and she wanted to stay longer.

I moved my friend into Kingston Bay Senior Living for financial reasons, but he is as happy here as he'd be anywhere else. I am satisfied with the accommodations provided to him and he feels comfortable at the community because the security is a little better with making people sign in, which at his previous community wasn't required. The management team managed to help me get him out of that community and get him into this one, so they were just very cooperative, nice and listened to what was going on. His room is right down the hall from the movie theatre and I always see a lot of people in there. The weight room seems more than adequate if someone would like to use it and there is a barbeque pit on one side with a fireplace in the other. My friend tells how much he likes the Nurses and the care they give him, so he is just happy that someone listened to what he had to say regarding his gout. Overall, I'd recommend it 1000%. Like everything in life, people want things cheaper, but for the money he is spending, I think he is receiving a great deal from he is. I have dealt with the many of the staff there like management, ladies at the front door, people walking around and the Nurses, but everyone is attentive, polite and knows what you're talking about, so what they told me they would do and what they did do, was far above was they said that they could do.

This community was chosen for my loved one because it seemed like a good place and the lady I spoke to was real friendly and helpful. I compared it to a few other places and the price was very comparable to others. It seemed like a good deal. Everybody that we have dealt with so far has been great. There are quite a few activities and they are really good. The person from the gym comes in on Fridays and they have social hours. They gym is excellent. I have not seen anything dirty anywhere. Everything has been very clean. The housekeepers came and changed her bed the other day which made her happy. Everything looks pretty good around the building. The caregivers have been great.

My mother moved into this community because of the location and the price seemed reasonable. It is a lovely community and it is very attractive. I think the value is excellent and I feel like the community is safe. As far as I can tell, there is only one entrance to the building and the people at the front desk keep an eye out for who is coming in. The management is very delightful, nice and positive. She is pleased with the dining. The dining room is lovely, there is no shortage of food or options and the service I think has been very good. For what it is, I think it is good. I think the activities are also good. The staff goes out of their ways to offer a good variety. Most of the people seem very positive and pleasant. They are smiling. The maintenance has been wonderful. One of her closet doors broke and they fixed it within 24 hours. We didn't like where the location of the TV jack was. I had them run almost 50 feet of cord around the baseboard to another wall. That makes the layout much better. The setup now is very nice and attractive. The grounds and common areas are very nice. Some of the aides are really sweet. They come in and fluff up her hair and make sure she has her lipstick on before taking her down. I think this community is real nice.

This is the first time my mom has ever been in an assisted living home. I think for everything she is getting and for what I have been told it is a fair price. In regards to the dining, they have a really nice menu. The waiters and waitresses are so accommodating and so beautiful. The activities staff do try hard and they are loving and so sweet. They do encourage everybody to go on the field trips and the residents have a wonderful time. My mom enjoys all of the social activities. We will call maintenance and they will be there in a few days but if it is an emergency they are there that day. The care givers have always been wonderful. If there is a problem they call me right away. If my mom refuses her medication they are right on top of it.

I think the mangement was the best. I loved them all. They are just wonderful people. The food there was delicious. The chefs were good. You could have ice cream every night if you wanted it. The staff were good they would come out and give you hugs. The place itself was beautiful and polished. My dad used the transportation all the time for doctors appointments. Occasionally, someone would just take him personally. It was a great place for him; they were wonderful to my dad.

I have mentioned the facility to several people that are looking or thinking about it. I have always told them that I m very pleased with it. When I ask my mom she says that she really likes the spaghetti and she really likes the food. My mom has mentioned to me that the care givers are very nice. They know more about my moms needs then I do. I am pretty happy with the care giving. It seems very secure. She is in memory care and you can't go in memory care or leave memory care to without someone opening the door for you.
