Fox Point

This was a wonderful move for me to come here. I'm so happy here. My children are so relaxed and happy because of the way I feel. It gives them a chance to live their own lives. I lived mine and now I have a new life. Moving here has God's fingerprints all over it. Everybody looks happy to see you and act like they love their work. It's a heartwarming feeling. There are no negatives whatsoever. Christine has worked so hard to make herself one of us, not above us. She comes into the dining room every night to talk with us. The staff is in a class all by itself. Joe, the driver, is unbelievable; he works with each individual with customized services. It has been a great move.

I'm satisfied here. Dining is pretty good. I'm pretty well satisfied with it. The housekeeping is very good. I would recommend the place.

I sought help in the form of Fox Point, and boy did I get it. I really got superb service. My wife was only there for two weeks plus, but the compassion we were dealt with was just unbelievable. I didn't think that anyone else understood what I was going through trying to care for my wife, and that staff - I couldn't speak higher of their ability to communicate with me, help me, and help her. I will speak highly forever of the service that was extended to me, my wife, and my family from the staff at Fox Point. They have been so gracious to me and my family.

Whenever we have had any issues, Kristine's door is always open. She always takes the time to listen to our concerns. The management staff was very helpful in getting my parent's placed so that was a great start. The food is great. There is always a nice variety. The staff is very accommodating and always asks if you need anything else. Memory care is starting a new program: Embrace. We had a town meeting the other day and it sounds like it will be a wonderful program. I have seen the gal in my dad's apartment cleaning every day. The laundry is kept up with. They are always very friendly when you see them. My dad requires a lot of care and they are doing a great job with him. For us, the value is good because we have peace of mind that they are being cared for and they have peace of mind.

I would say I'm satisfied with the value that I'm getting. From when we do visit, I would say they do a decent job with the apartment and building maintenance. There was a pretty good variety of food, and the quality of food was okay too. The service was good. I think considering all of the circumstances they do a pretty good job. The nurses do well. Housekeeping is good and laundry does a decent job. They do a good job with trying to bring different groups in and involve them with in house exercises and they do a good job with trying to get everybody involved.

It's a comfortable place for my aunt. It's very good food, she enjoyed the food. The caretakers are very helpful and took care of what I needed. If I had questions they usually found someone to answer the question. They keep the people busy with activities; I've seen them do a lot of things. The management staff is very nice and courteous, anything I ask they always follow through with.

My mother-in law- thinks the price is high, but it's comparable to the others locally. She hasn't ever made any complaints or anything about management so if she hasn't said anything I'm going to assume that's a good thing. Every time I've been there it's neat, clean and orderly. The people are always polite and the outside grounds look very nice. She's just starting to participate in things, I know she uses the bus to go shopping every week and went to a play last week. She is starting to join in and I've seen the calendar and it looks like there are tons of activities. It was the biggest room by probably close to 200 square feet for a comparable price, so for that it was phenomenal.

We liked the amenities, we liked the rooms. Judy was wonderful, the staff seemed great, so we moved my grandmother in. We love having nurses on 24/7. The community rooms are just above and beyond expectation. The management staff is very responsive to any concerns or questions or confusion. They're very happy, polite, and enthusiastic. One time I couldn’t get a hold of my grandmother and I called the front desk. They said she was in the dining room eating and asked if I wanted to leave her message they would bring her. I was floored, amazed I could do that and that they just knew where she was. My grandma loves that it's more of a restaurant style, loves to be waited on, loves the variety, and says the food is really good.
I think the activities are great. I like that everything winds down after dinner. There's a great variety. She attended a high school play the other day and had a great time. They have exercise groups every day, she loves that. She uses a roller-walker and was worried about boarding and getting off the bus and they have a lift on the back of the bus. The bus driver was awesome and explained it well, walked her through everything. She thought that was great. I really appreciate them dealing with her family. Moving her in was really trying, grandma was so nasty, but the staff was amazing and made the process easy. The entire staff is so open-eared, always listening and understanding.
